Just from looking at the pics...they are great!!!! Lady & the Tramp has my name on it for sure!!!

Thanks Lauri for taking the time to post the ornament pictures! I appreciate it!

Lauri,
Thank you so much for posting these. I see 5 that I will own.
Are any going to be a series? That Steamboat Willie is georgeous! I would love to see a series of Mickey's. Like anyone wouldn't have guessed that. Peggie

ARGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

I already had to leave 20 of them in the box this year cause I was out of space!!! And Hallmark has all my money...geez.

I need another tree.

ohhhhhhh I am already drooling over the Steamboat one...LOL

That Stitch one looks great. Any word of a Lilo one as well?

My husband is going to have a fit if I come home with anymore ornaments! He'll just have to get over it! ;)

Thanks for the info Lauri! Question - when do these ornaments usually come out?

Hey everyone.. Lauri here.. Matthews name won't log out and I'm feeling too lazy to go kill the cookie so I thought I would post as him..

I'm not sure on what is and what isn't a series yet. I don't have any written info on the ornaments yet. As soon as I get more info I will let you guys know.

If there are any non disney series you want a sneak peek on just post them here and I'll try to get a picture for you.

There are more Pooh related ornaments than what I posted here. There is also another ornament that I believe will be Toy Story related that has been kept under cover (don't quote me on that)

The Steamboat Willie ornament is supposed to be spectacular from what I have heard.

And.. best of all.. if all goes as planned this year's ornament premiere will be all about Disney :) There is even talk of a special Disney DVD release but everything is still up in the air. You guys know how these trademark partnerships can go so until I see it in hard print we will just call it a rumor, okay?

Mario.. I don't have the premiere date yet but it's usually around the second weekend in July. There will be two later premiere dates - one in October and one in November. I'm not 100% but I believe that the majority of the Disney related ornaments will be out with the July premeire.

Abeyst.. no word on Lilo yet but never say never. You don't know when something might join the lineup at the last minute.

Any other questions? I'll do my best to answer them :)

Oh yeah, for those of you that are dreading the amount of money you will spend - time to go pick up a part time job at a corporate Hallmark store. We traditionally have an employee appreciation week after Premiere weekend which means 50% off of ornaments! :teeth:

Ok, I am not amused by this at all. I just yesterday finished re-boxing all of the Hallmark Christmas ornaments that we currently have and already we are talking about upcoming ornaments? This is not good.

Personally, the only gold crown I want to see for a long time is the one on my head when I go to Burger King and order the big kids meal.

The madness must stop! Oh wait, did I hear there was a Hot Wheels ornament? What does that one look like?

Jeff

Jeff, you cannot deprive Trina of multiple visits to the local Hallmark Gold Crown store - that might be grounds for you sleeping outside :)!

OK, I gotta know... how do you tell which stores are corporate ones? I actually worked at a Hallmark on and off for about 6 years during and after college (beginning the Disney ornament addiction). But they were franchises and owned by the cheapest man on earth. I know he owns most of the ones in the immediate area. How would I find a corporate owned one?

:teeth:

STITCH!!!! Gotta have that one!
He is soooo cute. Hey, my daughter is looking for work, maybe I can get her to work for our Hallmark down the road.

Hooray!

Ok, I am no Hallmark expert. Oh wait, I am a Hallmark expert or at least I should be given the fact that I have single-handedly shelled out enough money to buy several of these stores. There are five tell-tale signs that a Hallmark store is corporately owned:

  1. Dilbert is running the register
  2. You call the store for help and the lady on the other end sounds like Darth Vader
  3. You go to the card display and there is a whole section of cards celebrating "Congratulations on your new cubicle!"
  4. Instead of sales, they refer to them as "merchandise downsizing"
  5. The stores are not named after large women you knew in high school
    [/list=1]

If you need any other tips about Hallmark just ask me, I am sure I can come up with some kind of answer for you.

    Jeff
