If I were to purchase a silver annual pass (FL Resident) pass today, using monthly payments, but do not plan to pick up until the end of September.

1. Will the monthly payments start now (doesn't matter, just curious)
2. Will the 1 year start the date of first use?

If it is a new pass you have to pay the down payment immediately and then payment plans start right away inn12 installments.

You get a voucher and it will be good for the day you turn it in and start using your pass. Idk if there is a limit on how long you can wait to turn in the voucher. Might be good to call or maybe someone else knows.

If you plan to renew after they first year remember that your AP date will always be the same. Even if you renew a few weeks after it expires, your renewal date is still when you first used your ticket. It matters if there are black out dates or want to try and plan for a year out.

i was about to ask the same thing. i want to buy the monthly pass but i wont use it until the first week of October. i want to make sure i have a pass and hotel booked before the 60 day FP+ mark so i can get good times. i just want to make sure that if i buy it now or later that the time i go in October will be my start date.

I confirm above. Payments start right away but the start date will be the day you start using them at the parks. That is the way it worked for me on my first one. Since then, the renewal date is always the same...Nov 29th for me.

I believe the payments start right away but the pass will work for 1 year after you activate it.. also agree that this is a call up and ask if nobody has first hand knowledge of doing it.

I could be wrong but I think if you want to make FP in advance you need to have an active pass or tickets with a package. The work around if you buy tickets for the trip, then convert them to an AP once at the park. The AP price may go up in that time though.

You can link the confirmation number for the AP pre-purchase to MDE which will allow for advance FP+ selections.
