Silhouettes in MK: Can they do it from a photo?

Can the Silhouette artists in MK create a silhouette from a photograph (profile picture)?

I know at Disneyland they can, so I have high hopes that the artists at MK can, too.

We had asked one of the artists last year at epcot if they could and he said yes. I am bringing a profile picture of our dog this next trip and hope they can do it. He is the only family member we haven't had done yet.

They really did a great job! We had to cancel our WDW trip this year. My parents were there this week & I emailed my mom a photo of my daughter & the man was able to create the silhouette by looking at the pic on my phone. He didn't even need a profile pic. It looks just like my daughter

Do they portray the child's actual hairstyle, or do something generic and just highlight the face? I recently found in my moms things a silhouette, in the same big box of pics with out one and only WDW pics!! I thought they were gone........ But the silhouette has a ponytail and I had dogears that day. Think the person just changed it for simplification? Or wonder if it was done somewhere else? I will have to post a pic of it. I'd love to know where it is from; sadly mom can't answer me now.
