I got my packet and it doesn't seem like any deal to me. First you've got to go "Mystery Shop" your local CEC. Then you log in online and do your report. Then they send you coupons for another CEC visit. I'm not even sure what kind of coupons because they are very vague. This sounds more like an advertsing ploy than it does a real "mystery shopper" program. It shouldn't cost the mystery shopper anything out of her pocket to give the company feedback on their service.

Actually you get a "VIP" pass upon completion which entitles you to get a large pizza, four drinks and 30 tokens.

Buy a drink if you don't want to spend any money. Admission is free to get in.

I got my packet a few weeks ago and we plan to go tomorrow with our refillable mugs and our $5 in free tokens when you buy $5 coupons. We'll probably buy an individual pizza and a sub and spend about $15 total. Great deal to me, since we go there anyway :)

I also just got the e-mail yesterday, but no packet in the mail. I've sent them an e-mail inquiring but no response yet.

Actually, every mystery shopping program I have ever done, you have to spend money first on purchasing something. otherwise you are not really shopping, you know? If you had some special coupon to use, they would know you were part of the program set up to see how they do and that totally defeats the purpose. You have to just seem like a normal customer as that is what the company wants to evaluate.

Me too! I want to get mine already!!! :confused3

Perfect timing, I got mine last week and my neices birthday party is next Saturday, I'll use it then and submit our findings!

I am still waiting on mine to come too! This is the longest it has ever taken to get here. If you go to CEC anyway its not a bad deal. We usually go and get a couple of kids meals, I'll get salad bar and bring report cards and coupons for the buy $5 in tokens get $5 free. I figure you get 2 outings for around $20, so its not a bad deal. Other than the Logans Roadhouse shops I use to do (I'm too old now) I have never seen shops where they pay you first. Usually they will pay you for the cost of your meal after you do the shop.

I just did my CEC mystery shop tonight, we went with another couple who had children and it was not that expensive, it was reasonable, and it was a night out, now i did my survey when i came home, and i am just waiting for my coupon i guess to come in the mail.
Oh well it was pretty fun.

I got my mystery shopper stuff, BUT the kids went to CEC 2 days ago and guess what they are throwing up AGIAN!! I guess this time I learned my lesson. That place is a germfest, and we will not be going back. Every time we go ther, someone gets sick.

Thanks. I am thinking of just getting drinks, the kids can use their report cards and then this coupon for this trip.

I received an initial email when I first signed up. However, I have not gotten any packets for doing the mystery shopping :sad2:

Did my shop last night, used the coupon they sent me via email and spent 21.00 for a large pizza and drinks. The tokens were free with the coupon. I thought it was worth 20 dollars for three people, I did not feel the 'free' tokens were any bargain.

The shop itself was easy, you do not need names or descriptions, just report what could be improved on and which departments received citations.

I have completed my shop and the online part and I received a plastic guest pass good for a large pizza, four drinks, and 30 game tokens.I did the shop on January 28th and got the free visit in the mail yesterday.

I did not give out a red citation but I would have if I had only judged the cashiers. They were horrible as well as the person that brought the pizza. However we were sitting in an area where we could view the salad bar and were very impressed with the amout of hand washing that was going on and the care taken in using gloves and other procedures that would have made any health inspector proud. I am now and my husband has been in the food service business so we know what to look for.

Did my visit today. I would have given out 3 greens and the blue IF I could have found the people in which to give them to. It was a very busy saturday afternoon and the workers were busy bees never in the same place for more then a few minutes.

Boo Hoo, I am so disappointed! I took the kids to CEC tonight to do my mystery shop, and when we pulled in the parking lot, it was CLOSED DOWN! and For Sale! I am so aggravated. . . it was open in November when my son had his BD party. .I had no idea it was going to close!

Ah well. . . .:(
