Do all the entrances to WDW property have the arch welcoming you to WDW? Can you pull of to the side of the road and take a picture, or is this forbidden?
We have lots of pictures of the sign taken from the car........and although they aren't the "perfect picture" - they say a lot. Last year my son even took a photo of the people in the car next to us waving.
Thanks for the replies so far, but is that archway at all entrances to WDW property, or just one particular one, I want to make sure we come in that way!

The arch is at at least three entrances - World Drive just north of 192, Epcot Center Drive off of the interstate, and the newest one along Osceola Parkway.
I believe there's an archway-type greeting in the Hotel Plaza/Downtown Disney area, but I think it's smaller than the others.
If you're driving in from the airport, the most convenient way in to the property will probably take you through the Epcot Center Drive arch, one way or another.
Between the locals and the CM's, there are a lot of people coming through those gates at maximum speed. While we all expect some hesitant/confused/whacko drivers, we very rarely see people stopped. You'll be running a very, very large risk of being in an awfully ugly accident.
I'm not sure why Disney doesn't do postcards of the gates, but for now, the taken-from-the-car pics will have to do.
On our last trip, a couple had stopped and got out to take a picture.
For a quick second, everyone driving by (including us), thought something was going on that Disney was doing, which was causing quick braking and slowing down etc. And with that, it could of easily caused an accident.
The sign at the WDW Hotel Plaza entrance (Downtown Disney near Crossroads) may not be as spectacular, but there are sidewalks, making it safe to walk back for a picture. Free parking could be found across the street at Crossroads, or up the blvd. at the Best Western (I doubt anyone would say anything if you just parked there a few minutes).
Just slightly off-topic, I've seen people stopped on I-75 at the Florida border, barely pulled out of traffic lanes, posing at the "Welcome to Florida" sign for pictures. That's not too safe either. Try the sign at the Welcome center just a couple miles ahead.
