I really really need to know some info about the "Sico" rooms at the Yacht Club. Are they smaller than the other rooms? Is the bed comfortable? Does anyone have any floor plans or pictures for me? When we booked the room, we asked for a king bed...come to find out that the guy at CRO gave us this room. It is our honeymoon, and I don't want a pint-sized room with an uncomfortable bed. Would I be better off booking a room with two queen beds? Some one please help me out here..

MScott1851 - I think if I were in your shoes and I couldn't get any more specifics, I would switch to the 2 queen beds. I agree that you want everything to be PERFECT on your honeymoon. I don't have any solid answers for you as I haven't seen the Sico rooms, but I would venture to say that they would be a little smaller than other rooms. Otherwise, they'd just put a regular king bed in there, right?? And I certainly wouldn't want to be pulling the bed down every night, honeymoon or not.

If you don't get any other responses under this thread, try changing your subject line to YC question. You might get more responses from the board's YC experts. Good Luck!

sorry I can't help you directly but awhile back there was a post about this very subject. Perhaps you could do a search or look back over old posts. I believe it was in the last month or so. Other than that maybe editing your post title to include the word 'sico bed' may draw the experts on that. There was a link to some photos and a good description by someone who had stayed in this type of room. IIRC they liked it. Hopefully they will stumble onto this post and help you out!

I believe tikiman had a sico room and has pictures on one of his websites of it. I would pm him and ask for your info! He is very helpful!

I should have known it was Tikiman that had pictures of this! Here's the link to his pictures of the sico room. After reading his comments, it seems like he really liked the room. Have to say, the view on this room is wonderful! At least now you've got something to look at before making your decision.
