Add me to the list of people who were happy to be staying on Mars. Somehow I was convinced we were going to have to return to Earth, but being stuck on Mars brought an incredible sense of relief. Overall, I managed well on Mission Space, but I'm glad the ride stopped when it did. DS (10) went on 3 times in a row and had a great time. He was really concerned that I would miss pushing all the buttons, but I didn't want to take my eyes from the screen to look for them, and I was even afraid to blink! I experienced a slight feeling of queasiness by the end of the ride, but it passed in a few minutes - not enough to keep me from trying it again, but I think it's a once-a-trip ride for me.
I'm prone to motion sickness, but mostly in the car rather than on rides. As a child I hurled indiscriminately on family vacations , but as an adult I'm fine as long as I don't try to read in the car - darting a quick glance at a map is as much as I can manage.
