I'm really surprised, we have two MK days the first week of March and got shut out of Peter Pan for FP+. We're staying offsite but I thought booking right at midnight I would be able to get Peter Pan for our entire group at least in the evening. Oh well. I could get it for one person at 9pm, not really a help, lol. Got SDMT no problem, go figure.

You caught a break!
If you get a PP FP+, you'll miss the brand new (and sensational) interactive queue for the attraction.
Many who have seen it think that the new queue is equal to (or even a bit BETTER than) the ride, itself.
(No, I'm not kidding.)

Definitely go at RD, and experience the new queue!

Oh I really hope it is worth it, the wait there seems to get so long. I haven't gone on PP without a FP since I can't even remember. One day we will start in Adventureland and the other Tomorrowland and I don't expect to make it to PP before 10:30am. At least you have given me some hope that all is not lost, thank you.

This makes me excited. I thought about getting a FP+ for PP during my upcoming trip, but decided to go for more thrill rides. I plan on doing PP when I get to MK at RD, and can't wait to see the new queue!

We were there this past June (on a day that TouringPlans rated a 6 for crowd level) and didn't have FP for Peter Pan (wasn't a big priority for us). We didn't even rush there at rope drop--went and did Space Mountain first, then went for a coffee at Starbucks before heading to Fantasyland. The standby line wasn't that long at all. I think the posted wait was something like 45 minutes, but we got on in less than 20 minutes. If you go there at rope drop, you'll probably get right on. You just have to make sure the day you are going to MK isn't a morning EMH day for onsite guests.

Be aware that the new queue is deceiving. You think the line is short because you don't realize that the queue winds around and around inside. We didn't realize that in December.

It's the best "repurposing" of former RESTROOMS I've ever seen! ;)

I was there Sunday evening and rode during the nighttime parade. Posted time said 30 and it only took us less than 10 minutes to get through the queue. The new effects are worth a 30-40 minute wait in my opinion.

I am feeling a little less upset and will just hope the kids enjoy it and don't get to ancy in line. I was just very surprised, I knew we would not get A&E and had doubts about SDMT but didn't think anything else would be an issue between our two MK days.

Pan is hardly the only the queue at Disney (or most any theme park) that looks shorter than it actually is.

We just rode PP on Sunday at about 9:20am and the wait was posted 25 minutes and I think that's about what we waited. The interactive queue is very cool (I don't have a frame of reference, though, b/c the last time I was at Disney was about 20 years ago and I have no clue if there even was a PP ride?). However, it was not cool enough to deal with a 60-90 minute wait, IMO! I saw those wait times on the MDE app leading up to our trip which is why it was our first stop when we got to MK (just after RD).

If you'd rather FP Peter Pan, I have a feeling that if you just keep checking back you'll likely get some.
(I'd not be surprised to find that many guests who now HAVE the PPF FP+ might be canceling.)

I think I'm going to leave it, I don't have high hopes of getting 11 together. We might just change our morning plans and go there instead of adventureland and hope for a late 4th FP for Jungle Cruise and/or POTC. I'm spending too much time just trying to get 3 A&E FP+, I can't work on anything else. :crazy2: :badpc:

I'm surprised that you couldn't get Peter Pan at 30 days. It's certainly popular but wow, THAT popular?

I hope to go there at rope drop to check out the queue. My only concern is that some people have said that they don't open the extended queue right away.

If you go to PP ride at RD and ride that and then go straight to adventureland, you may still find short lines there and in Frontierland. When we were there over Veteran's Day weekend, Adventureland and Frontierland were practically walk on for everything until 10:30/almost 11am. Everyone is heading to A&E and SDMT at RD, so the lines in the other lands take longer to build up.

I agree.

I saw pictures of the new queue and it looks amazing. We were planning on getting a fast pass for this which I think I might still get a fast pass for it, but there is 1 magic kingdom day that we are doing rope drop. If we can high tail it over there maybe we can make it there before the line gets too crazy. I will have to mark that on my calendar so I know not to get a fast pass early in the AM for that day lol

Did the new PP queue last weekend ...definitely a must do if you are a big fan! Catch it at rope drop. You almost want a little line so you can enjoy the effects.

Good to hear. I was thinking that right at Rope Drop, you might just bypass the interactive queue.

Think we'll plan to do the ride second, so that is enough of a line that we don't just rush right through the queue.
