Have already been tweaking my resort for next year  I'm from the UK so don't get any pin discount, and with the £/$ rate as it as currently staying at a Disney resort is getting really really expensive, so I've got a great rate at the Swan - OK, it's not a 'proper' Disney resort but it's in my favourite Epcot area. I've still got the Poly on my 'wish list' and if I won the lottery I'd be there like a shot lol

So, onto restaurants. Even though I'm not staying at Disney resort and therefore no DxDP it's still way more cost effective for me to stay at the Swan and even eat at signature restaurants each night, seriously, how cool is that! :yay:

I've eaten at Blue Zoo before and am determined to get back there, but I'm really drawn to the menus for Shulas and Il Mulino, the only issue that concerns me is will I feel out of place being a solo female diner? Is there a bar area/kitchen counter like at Flying Fish/Jiko?

Thanks

Both restaurants have a bar area that you can eat at. Have a great trip!

Clare, my sweet British friend. Just call me. . .you will NEVER have to dine alone here in Florida. Make whatever dining ressies you want. We can connect and figure out later what works and doesn't. . .

I sure hope you and my other Brit friends are ready to put up with this psychotic Yank for a couple weeks this summer. . .lol.

Dining ressies sound good!

Ready and waiting Darcy, let's hope the weather improves!

Clare, you are still talking about Nov 2011, correct? Hopefully you won't be alone....remember I've tentatively penciled those dates in my calendar. If all goes well I'll be seeing you then (especially since we missed last May together). :thumbsup2

I haven't forgotten Teresa, it would be great to meet up again :)
