Shows you loved but for some reason stopped watching

Person of Interest, Revenge and Once Upon a time

Series I wish they continued -
The London Hospital (one my top shows ever!!)
Upstairs Downstairs ( the series that was in 2010+ not the 70s episodes)
Mad Men (not over yet but soon... Toooo soon)

Revenge is hanging on a thin thread for me.

Boardwalk Empire. I never really forgave them for killing off Angela and Jimmy, and after season 3, DH and I realized we were paying for HBO just to watch this show. We literally watched nothing else on the channel, so we cancelled. I haven't missed it that much.

I haven't officially given up NCIS, but I notice when it's on I'm constantly playing on my phone and not paying attention. DH likes it a lot still, so we'll be with it until the end I suppose.

I stopped watching Raising Hope too. And like you I am not sure why. It is a funny show. Damages is another one that I have been meaning to watch the last 2 seasons on Netflix

I loved Damages, thought it was one of the best shows on TV and then Time Warner took it off Fox:mad:

 Tell me about it!

I hate feeling like a I put time into a show and then loose interest. I have several shows that that has happened to:

Glee: Love Jane Lynch, but got so annoyed at of the some of the other cast
Parenthood
How I Met Your Mother
Heros, don't even know how it ended: Just tanked after the first season, IMO
American Idol
I am about to give up Hawaii 50

I balance it with shows I could never give up, no matter how bad the plot line gets at times, like Grey's Anatomy.

Hawaii 5-0 Story lines are so ridiculous. McGarret can take on 30 men alone, and win. I watch it but get bored. It's fluff.

I stopped watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 sometime in Season 6 because I was in college and didn't really have access to a TV very often.

Good Wife. I think it used to be on Sundays or something (maybe still is?) and I would have my DVR set up to record it, but then the Sunday football game(s) would go over and all later programing would be pushed back. I'd try to watch only to discover it didn't tape half the episode. After about a month of that I gave up.

One of these days I'll go back and watch it on DVD or something (in all the free time I don't have...).

It's still on Sunday nights. I had to set my DVR to record for an extra hour to make up for the late starts.

-Desperate Housewives: I found Tom and Lynette's marriage to be so intensely irritating, I had to stop watching the show.

-True Blood

-Heroes

-Once Upon A Time: Just got too confusing with all the new characters, different locations, etc.

-Revenge: Once she got amnesia, I was outta there.

-How I Met Your Mother: Just took too long to meet the mother. I got bored.

Shows I wished I had stopped watching before I got irritated with them, so I could remember them fondly instead of hating them:

-Alias
-Seinfeld

Revenge

I loved this show the first 2 seasons. Then it got so complicated and confusing for me I gave up. :confused3 I haven't seen it once this season.

Once Upon a Time: the first season was so good but then I got so bored in the beginning of the second season that I couldn't continue on.

Revenge: I just wanted Emily to tell someone! I was taking too long… although I maybe try to watch it.

The Amazing Race: I just stopped caring about it.

Covert Affairs: got bored with the last season's opener, but they're still sitting on my DVR.

Revolution: there were too many long breaks.

True Blood: the fairies annoyed me too much.
