Thanks so much for your kind words. I love my room, too. I don't scrap in it too much, but it was fun to decorate!

Absolutely steal the spice rack, afterall, that is what scrap lifting is about!! There is one on 2 peas where it is completely altered! It is awesome!

Thank you guys! It's in base housing with this wierd little add on room that I had no idea what to do with - for about 5 minutes when I realized what a great scrapbooking room it would be!!

Golly what gorgeous rooms! AND so neat, with everything put away in it's own space. I think if someone would GET me to that state, I could keep it that way, but I have trouble making decisions on the best way to store something - like paper (see my thread) or embellishments - I mean do you store colors together, patterned and plain so you see the color matches right off? Do your store all the brads together in one box of compartments or all the different stuff like buttons and brads and ribbon of the same color together? What about the odd stuff, that doesn't FIT anything?

All those rooms look so "well decorated" and tidy! Even the one in base housing looks great - no base housing I ever lived in had walls in that good condition, lol.

This is my Razorback red scraproom. So many things in this room make me feel happy.My DH made me the shelf and my DD,mom and DH each made me a heart picture to match the room (they are in the last pic). My moms senior pic is on the other wall. We had a old table that I stamped with red flowers and my DD and DH both wrote something nice to me on the table then we put plexie (?) glass over the top so it would be smooth. I love being in that room.

I have the same chair in my craft room! For Christmas I asked for a comfy rolling chair, but didn't get one. Maybe this summer? I love your room! I love my room too, but I don't have pictures of it - it's never cleaned up enough to take pictures This thread has inspired me to get it more organized!

You didn't see the mold growing behind one of my paper files!!

I organize most things by color. All my brads are stored in a cropper hopper box of their little embellishment boxes. All my ribbon is by color in jars. Most of my paper is by color. I have some sets stored together. Finally I have a small set of draweres with emebellishments that didn't have anywhere to go and they're sorted by color. I have big drawers organized by theme for things that don't fit anywhere. I have another set of little drawers for chipboad/metal letters. They're organized by letter.

I LOVE organizing. Almost as much as scrapbooking.

What a GREAT idea for a thread! These rooms are amazing... AMAZING! You guys are killing me though --- I'm a 23-year-old recent college grad and I will be living in tight quarters with roommates for quite awhile. It will be at least a few years before I can settle in my own place and have a whole scrapbooking room all to myself. But now I can't wait! The wheels have already started turning.

And I guess the advantage is that I will set up my room before I ever have a DH... and then I won't have to convince a DH to let me have a room... instead I will introduce future-DHs TO my room and say... you want me, you have to want my scrapbook room too!

Nothing makes me happier than Disney scrapbooking.

I got my mom to start scrapbooking... and then last year I bought some furniture to make a more functioning office. And there is also the room next to it... a florida room.... that is where most of the scrapbooking things are (the FR). I have had it organize once, then she moves things because they are sitting out and puts them somewhere else, vs where they should be. LOL
like my cricut... its home has been moved to another place ... but i will get it back to its spot... and play with my disney cartridges.

[Of course, I go and buy more things and dont always get them into the right spot]

Nice room! Never want clean sweep to come and tell me I need to get rid of things in regards to my scrapbooking!

Wow to all. I cannot believe how clean and organized, but also cheery and beautiful, all of the rooms are. Makes me wish for one too, but I know it would look like my mom's craft room...nearly inaccesible with all of the junk piled on the floor, bins overflowing, half-finished projects strewn about. Ah well, I can dream, and look at your pictures instead.

Where did you find the corner shelf that your tv is on?

I'm in the process of creating my scraproom ... so no pictures yet ... and would love to get something like that.

It is a corner cabinet from Home Depot with the door removed. Only thing I don't like is the shelf is not adjustable. But it is great to have the TV up there!
In response to all of the praise for being neat and organized, it is not always like that! I did straighten it up for the photos! If I think about it this weekend, I will take photos of it messy! Usually I shop and just put things on the floor instead of in the right spot! Then I spend half a day putting away all of the stuff I will probably never use! LOL!!
