Shout outs to an awesome WONDER serving team!

Before my first ever cruise I remember reading some concerns about the serving teams on the Wonder. I wasn’t worried because I’m pretty chill about those things but I ended up being THRILLED with our team.

For context, we had a huge table of 16, ages 5-74 (5 kids)

We had:
Francis from India
Nyoman from Bali
And our section was managed by Geoffrey from the the Philippines

They were fast, skilled and absolute sweethearts. Travelling with 3 kids, I don’t think I’ve experienced such fun and relaxing dinners.

An additional shout out to our room steward Jude! He was wonderful to (with mad towel animal skills!!)

I went into this trip with tons of excitement and an open mind. My expectations of the crew were totally exceeded!

Since I learned so much from everyone on this site I wanted to share my experience.

Geffrey is the best. DD5 talks about him regularly! He (and our server + assistant server) made her feel like the most special and important kid on the ship!

My husband and kids got to Cabanas for a later lunch. There were no doughnuts left (my son loved them at breakfast!). My 7 year old started to cry. Geoffrey came over to see what was wrong. He asked a colleague to look in a few different spots. Within 15 minutes he was back with a tray of three doughnuts for my kids.
Not asked for. Not expected.
Just amazing customer service!!!

After this trip (my first time on a cruise or at Disney parks) and I finally understand that Disney difference!!

We were on the Wonder earlier this month and also had a great serving team. We had Savio from India and Patrick from the Philippines. My dd would only eat either a hamburger or chic strips for dinner. One night they didn't have either in the restaurant that we ate at, so they ask if she wanted something else. DD said cheese pizza with no sauce. They were able to get it for her, and for the other nights when there wasn't either a hamburger or chic strips on the menu, they had a pizza made for her. DD thought it was the best pizza she's ever had and asked me to make one for her the other day, but said it had to taste just like the one she had on the cruise. I had asked the first night if it was possible for us to get a small bowl of any kind of berries. My dd gets really constipated if she doesn't eat a bowl of berries every day. Every night we had either strawberries or blueberries on the table for her. I don't remember our head server's name, but also did a great job, came by to say hi every night and I noticed there were many times he was helping with clearing tables, bringing out trays of food, etc. Of course we gave them all extra for the tips and made sure we wrote how great they were on the end of cruise comment card.

We had Netasha as our server from St Lucia and she was wonderful. I will ask for her every time. She always has the biggest smile on her face and would do anything to make us happy. Mehmet was our head server also. He did the color changing crayon magic trick for the kids at or table, and they loved it.

Geoffrey is the best. He was not our head server but he talked to us often.

Another cheer for Geoffrey! He caught us walking by the entrance to Triton’s on Pirate Night and asked if we were coming in. We said we weren’t even though we loved the menu, too much to fit in with 4 kids! He offered to send it to our room. So wish we’d taken him up on it as our “quick”meal in Cabanas was AWFUL.

Since I learned so much from everyone on this site I wanted to share my experience.

We had Geoffrey as manager on our cruise. He was nice. When we went last year, we had Joseph & Jack as waiters.

The name Nyoman rings a bell too... ?

We had Tiago and Kellyann on our Wonder trip in January. They were equally as awesome. The dining teams are always the best!
