If I remember correctly, Party for the Senses dates are usually released by now. Anyone have any news on when they'll be released?

T-Rex....."Opening Fall". Does anyone know a date and/or when they'll start accepting reservations?

Thanks! :)

The dates for party for the senses are September 27th, October 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th, November 1st & 8th. No new news for T-Rex yet.

No official information on the Food and Wine Festival events has been released for 2008. You may be remembering prior years, because last year the schedule was released on July 31. This year, we have a report that booking will begin on August 11, so I would look for the schedule around the last week of July again.

With very rare exceptions, Party for the Senses is always on Saturday, so it's possible to predict that they will be on Saturdays this year as well.

Do tickets for these sell out quickly or is this something I can get tickets to the day before?

You don't get tickets for any of the food and wine events, just a confirmation number. You check in with a cast member at the event, who has a list of registered guests. You get your wristband and the souvenir wine glass and notched "holding plate", along with a color-coded event booklet of the food and wine stations in the venue.

No matter if you book it over the phone a month in advance, or book at Guest Relations a few days in advance, it will be prepaid in full. Because the World Showplace venue holds a lot of people, I don't find I need to book it on the first day the event bookings open.

I intend to book my other event on the first day, and book Party for the Senses in mid-September, so it will hit my next credit card statement. It's a month before my trip, and I don't think it would be sold out.

But, that's a lot of info you probably didn't need.
I don't know if it does sell out, but I wouldn't wait until a day before to book it. I'd suggest booking it at least 2 weeks out through the Disney Dining phone number.

Obviously this is going to be my first F&FW and DW and I are super Excited to finally be able to go for it. What other events are there that would require us to get confirmation of our attendance for? All events? Are there any that if we want to do we should call the first day?

Any special dining events (which will be eventually posted here, probably the last week of July) need to be paid in advance. Last year, Disney did not allow cancellations, so book at our own risk, so to speak.

The events range from 3 course (appetizer sized portions) food and wine pairings, to extremely expensive multi-course dinners paired with wine. Some events are luncheon demos. We won't know what they'll offer this year until we see the published listing of events.

And yes, many of the events sold out within the first day of booking. Some of them (the LeCellier food and wine pairings) sold out within the first 10 minutes or so. PFTS doesn't sell out on the first day.

Party for the Senses is a prepay event. It should be booked asap. however, we have friends that have wanted us to go at the last minute, and have made reservations the same week as the event 2xs the past 2 yrs.

WOW is it worth it tho.....:cheer2: a must do for everyone
