Should I go with my heart or my head?

I hope you will follow your heart. I agree with the posters who say if it does'nt work out, you are young enough to try a different path. Imagine your life 5 or 10 years from now and run through what you think would be a typical day at each job. How does each make you feel? If there is a "certain unexplainable something" tugging at your heart, your intuition is talking to you - I really think intuition is worth listening to. Good luck! Also - try to do what YOU want, not your parents or friends. This is a lesson I'm still learning - getting better all the time though. It's your life - make it what you want! Everyone else will eventually come around.

That's a tough decision. Perhaps the first internship would hold the position while you complete the second internship? You'll never know unless you ask. I was faced w/ a somewhat similar scenario when I graduated college in '02. I had always taken the sensible/safe/smart road in life and b/c of this I landed a great job with a top financial institution after college. However, I was also offered a change to move to Disney to participate in the college program. I knew that was probably my one chance in life to do something totally different and it was a once in a lifetime opportunity for me. So, I spoke w/ my soon-to-be boss at the financial institution and explained the situation and they held the position for me for 6 months so I could do the internship at Disney! I know that the economy is different now, but I would have always regretted it had I not gone to Disney and had that wonderful experience. Long story short - go w/ your heart, as long as you're able to support yourself and make financial sense of it.
