Should I book a taxi/van in advance?

This is the first time we are flying to WDW...first night at All-Stars and remainder of trip at Dolphin. We will use ME to get from MCO to All-Stars but will need a van/taxi (there are five of us) the next morning to take us to the Dolphin. Not wanting to waste any of the "magic", should we try to book in advance?

You don't need to book a taxi in advance. Just grab a taxi on the taxi stand whenever you get ready to leave the all-stars. The doorman at the front will get one as soon as you request it.

Ed--can 5 people fit in a regular taxi or should they ask for a taxi van? My understanding is it's the same price and that if one isn't available the doorman/valet can get one pretty fast.

It is pretty tight in a taxi sedan. In fact maybe to tight. The front seat in the Mears Fords have a meter right in front of the radio. It is called a gandaulf and the in case of an accident will get jammed right into the face of the middle occupant. They will comfortably seat 4. I refused to have a passenger in the middle front seat when I drove those cars. The vans are much better and have the same meters and charges.

The doorman can usually get a van fairly fast.
