Short Styles for hair for Prom

This is what my hair looks like. Does anyone have any good websites or ideas for my hair for prom? It would be greatly appreciated.

Can you post a pic of your dress? I forget what it looks like...
If its a light color, a little more springy? daytime? You could put like a headband of babys breath or other small flowers behind your bangs and curl the rest with soft curls.
If its more of an evening gown (I'm getting annoyed cuz I cannot remember for the life of me what it looks like! I just remember its beautiful!) you could do the same with a rhinestone headband...or nix the headband all together and just use those clip in rhinestones. The curls you use here could be scrunched-type curls, or tighter curls.
This is without seeing the dress, if you show me that, I can probably think of some more!

Are you going to a salon? Bring in a bunch of clips and those little spiral sparkly things. Then how about a zig zag part with a bunch of clips. If you bring your stuff into the salon she will do something nice for you. You have enough length I think that a salon could do an updo for you too.

I would try maybe some pin curl type waves, a la the 1940's. . I also like the idea of fluffing your bangs and ten curling the longer hair in the back.

I'm not going to a salon I belive my Mom is going to do it. I might go to my hair dresser if I really need to. Those are both good ideas I'll tell my Mom.

I think this sounds like it would be really pretty...especially with the color of your hair! Then you could go light on the makeup, but do like a sultry red lipstick! Thatd be very nice...
How does the dress look? Isn't it great to be able to look at it every day?? Haha, when I got mine, I must've tried it on like 20 times before the prom....

Oh no-- you are adorable. I like the vinage look for your hair too. Esp with the dress. Kind of like Greta Garbo. Picture perfect. Make sure you post pics!!

awwww thanks! I will and I can't wait. I love to look at my dress everyday I love it so freakin' much. I especially love the back!

I was thinking maybe you could get some really fancy hair clips and just clip it back on the sides and curl the back under.

As far as makeup, maybe just a little mascara and some lipstick
