Shopping through Mypoints

I shopped with Office Depot through Mypoints the first time today.
I ordered office supplies, and there was a message on the order that read "A link to claim your Mypoints bonus will appear on your confirmation page". NOT! Even after I paid for the order with my credit card, no such link appeared. I also neglected to put my Mypoints email addy, but thats another story. I then placed an additional order with the correct email addy and still no link. Cust service at Mypoints says I have to wait 20 days to see if I'm credited. If not, I guess I will have to wait for them to credit after that. I was going to use the points towards a meal or web cert for my early Oct WDW vacation. Will I make it? Has anyone else had this problem, and will they credit if you shopped through their site but put the wrong email address?

I ordered recently from Office Depot through MyPoints. The first time (yes I said first time..LOL) I got the same message as you ("A link to claim your MyPoints will appear...."). When I got to the end and chose the "pick up at nearest store location" I did not get the link. Well, I was determined to to get those points so I placed a second order (same item) and chose to have it delivered (anything over $50 free shipping). The second time around the link was at the bottom of confirmation page. All I did was returned the item when it arrived.

Did you choose the pickup at store option?

My first order was over 200, the other was over 50. The saddest thing is that one of the items in my first order was automatically put on a second order by Office Depot, because it was going to be shipped directly from the manufacturer. This brought my order total (before tax & freight) to 199.23! You need 200. to get the 1000. Mypoints. Does tax & freight count, or do I need to make a stink over it? I did have cust rep at Office Depot fax me an explanation of what they did, so if necessary, I can fax to Mypoints. Will I have to fight for these points?

I am not sure...I hope you wouln't have to. It probably wouldn't hurt to send a copy of the fax that you received from Office Depot to MyPoints.

I personally have never had any problems (YET ) with MyPoints so I do not know how difficult a battle this is going to be. I would think it would not be as bad as with some of the others, as MyPoints has, for the most part, always been pretty reliable as far as rewards programs go.

Save all your e-mails from office depot so you can forward them to mypoints incase you dont get the points. One I used my dh e-mail on a mypoints offer and I did rec the point. The 2 times I didnt rec my points once I forwarded them to mypoints they credited them.

I just did an order and did not get a notification about the points either. I looked everything over really close, too! I'll give them 20 days, and if my 300 points aren't there, I will definitely be emailing MyPoints!

...with my points...I actually made a HUGE mistake...I put in a different address than what I had listed on my account...I saved all the email confirmations and stuff and when the 20 days are up I contacted mypoints and they had no problem crediting my account.
