We are also suprising our kids with a wdw trip this September. This will be our kids first trip to wdw. Actually it is our kids' first trip anywhere that isn't a relative's house! So not only is it their first trip to Disney but also their first time on a plane and first time to stay in a hotel. What is sad is that they are 16,12, and 10!!!

We have told our dd16 but not our boys. We are planning on suprising them the morning we leave. Our flight leaves at 7:00am. We will have to wake them up at 4:00am to get to the airport on time. They will be sleepy and have a hard time grasping what is going on. It should be pretty funny!

Your surprise sounds awesome! I am also having a hard time keeping it all a secret. I keeping ordering stuff for this trip and the kids keep asking what is in all the boxes. Luckily, we homeschool and I just tell them the boxes are school books and they go running!!

I will look forward to reading how your reveal goes! School books. Ha!

Did some stealth packing yesterday while DS was fundraising for his soccer team. Of course, when he came home, he searched around for two of his shirts that I had packed.

He said "But Mom, I know they are clean because I put them in my dresser and didn't wear them this week!"

Oh funny! So close now!! Please share how the reveal goes when you get back!
I am hoping with the start if school before I go, clothes disappearing won't be noticed!
I can see the discussion now the morning of....
"Why don't you where these shorts and shirt today?"

Today is 64 day mark! Getting closer, but that means 19 days until final payment
I am debating the photo pass this trip, I want to do it, it will depend on how much money I have after we pay off the trip

I am looking forward to Mickey mail after I am paid up, always exciting!

Just found your thread I'm happy to hear about other people's surprises. We are surprising our 18, 10, 9 & 5 year olds. This will be the younger ones 2nd trip. Our older ones have been there a few times. Our oldest just graduated high school and all she wanted was to go to disney. We told her we couldn't afford it so we are going to myrtle beach instead. We are at the 37 day mark today and we still haven't figured out the details of the surprise. I'm just shocked I haven't spilled the beans yet- it's hard to keep it in. We
Are driving so we are thinking about telling them 1/2 through the ride or right before we leave.

I watched a few you tube videos of Disney Surprises. Some do it the way you described, they tell them half way!

My girlfriend just did it at the airport and she gave her girls tshirts she said her girls were speechless and didn't want to take the shirts off even to go to bed.

Spent the day at a amusement park. My four year old did awesome!!! Think he will great in Disney! And today was hazy hot and humid!!

We brought one when my older son was his age and he used it a little but it was a huge pain!

true but you could rent one there, I hear they are pretty easy to get, they will just deliver it to your resort and pick it up the day you leave...we have a huge one that I hate lugging around but I think we will rent a smaller one to have there

So I accidentally rented a stroller! So I guess we are set there! Apple stroller rentals, the website does not tell you how much the rental cost, so I figure if I fill the form out it will go to a "are you sure" page....nope rented it! Actually not a bad price, so I am keeping it!

Rental came to $53.00 for a week, includes drop off, pick up, cleaning, insurance for theft or damage, and taxes!

It is VERY difficult to pull off the surprise Disney trip in our home! My Autistic son hears EVERYTHING! We did pop a Halloween 5 day trip on them a couple of years ago, but that was it.
I am "secretly" sitting on a 4 day extension to upcoming Christmas trip. I haven't even told Momma yet about the extra nights so it'll be interesting to see if I can keep it hush-hush. First time at a deluxe, so I hope they're pleased.
