I love reading about surprise trips! I've always wanted to do one, but I can't keep a secret to save my soul - lol!!

I think your itinerary looks great! The only thing I'd suggest is to really try to get to DHS at rope drop to be sure to get fast passes for Toy Story Mania! We usually get a fast pass and hurry and get in line so we can do it at least twice.

Glad you were able to get ADRs for all your son's favorites!!!

Thanks! It is getting so hard not to tell them! I know the pay off will be worth the wait!
I think we will get to Hollywood studios around opening, or maybe the next morning if we missed anything!
We were talking about the pools at CBR and realizing we will have a hard time fitting in a swim during normal hours! We will have to make an effort to have the kids spend some pool time. Even if it means waking up at 5am on the day we leave

I think my DD Raina would have tried to keep it secret from her girls, but one day we were on the comp discussing it and the older one ventured into the room .....well the cat jumped out of the bag....lol

Surprise trips sound like fun though .......mmmmm think I will surprise my DH with a trip to WDW only he won't be invited just DD Raina and I will go...mother daughter thing won't he be surprised....lol

There are so many times I just want to tell them! I think about it all day!!
Especially when they complain that we are not doing anything exciting this summer. I want to yell "because we are going to Disney!!"
The circle of people who know about the trip is growing, which worries me for a slip! Yikes!

Luckily our other friend kicked her under the table.
And DS has been the same way"why can't we go here?" "We aren't doing anything fun this summer except soccer" ARRRGGGH!

You could always tell them something like when you get back from Vegas you will let them help pick a small getaway together...just to get them off your back, they will probably never dream of Disney being an option. They can plan something close to home, like a beach weekend or what have you. So then when it's time for the trip you can be like "yea well if you guys are up for it I was thinking instead of going to ________ next week, we could just go to Disney today if you like..." Hahaha! Then watch their jaws hit the floor

Cheap trip tonight to the drive in to catch Monsters University and Despicable Me 2! Had fun and now will have two tired kiddos tomorrow!
Oh and started the evening with a quick trip to emergency! My 4 yo fell while with grandpa and hit the back of his head on a slide. Hours later when I pick him up and find out he had a golf ball size bump at the base of his skull, and purple under both eyes. Sigh. Pediatricians office closing soon sent him to ED instead. HE IS PERFECTLY FINE, thank goodness!

We are also suprising our kids with a wdw trip this September. This will be our kids first trip to wdw. Actually it is our kids' first trip anywhere that isn't a relative's house! So not only is it their first trip to Disney but also their first time on a plane and first time to stay in a hotel. What is sad is that they are 16,12, and 10!!!

We have told our dd16 but not our boys. We are planning on suprising them the morning we leave. Our flight leaves at 7:00am. We will have to wake them up at 4:00am to get to the airport on time. They will be sleepy and have a hard time grasping what is going on. It should be pretty funny!

Your surprise sounds awesome! I am also having a hard time keeping it all a secret. I keeping ordering stuff for this trip and the kids keep asking what is in all the boxes. Luckily, we homeschool and I just tell them the boxes are school books and they go running!!

Did some stealth packing yesterday while DS was fundraising for his soccer team. Of course, when he came home, he searched around for two of his shirts that I had packed.

He said "But Mom, I know they are clean because I put them in my dresser and didn't wear them this week!"
