I love the idea of telling them they are getting a "chore list" and then it being a note that they are going to Disney. I know I would have completely freaked out if that ever happened to me, even if I was in a public place (who am I kidding, I still would)!

Like most of you reading this I am an obsessive Disney planner! I feel like there should be a meeting to attend ODP- Hi My name is Kerri and I have been an obsessive Disney planner for 10 years now.....

My husband announces to me that since we have no kids in diapers this trip, his is planning on carrying NOTHING in the park. As much as I want this to be the case, it is just not happening. I explained we need sunscreen (two of us are red heads!), hats, someplace to store a phone that is waterproof....
Ok he agrees that I need to carry something. I should add that to my intro

So anyways I am searching for the perfect bag to take to Disney in the parks, no too big and easy to carry, unisex for when I make him carry it!

I was at my nephews birthday party last weekend, I walked in the kitchen and laying on the table was the perfect bag!!
It is a drawstring backpack with his name embroidered and mickey heads! Turns out his Aunt bought all the kids one last year when they did a family trip. SO I hunt down the Aunt who tells me she got it on ebay!

I found it, it is good quality and has a canvas pocket with a mesh bag! Perfect!! I ordered it for $12.99 and free shipping, only downfall is she no longer does the mickey heads, just a name. No problem it works! Still so excited for it to come.

I talked to my mom's neighbor who does the screen printing about making the shirs yesterday. They are Red (eye roll from the hubby on that one), with mickey head silloutte and the kids names under the mickey head. Ours will have Mom and Dad.

Things are moving along nicely!
Almost forgot I got a nice (backhanded) compliment from my husband yesterday! We were at my son's soccer game and talking to the peopl next to us, who happened to be leaving for Disney after the game (first time there). Boy I wish I had talked to them 6 months ago tosave them headaches!
My husband says "The first time we took our oldest, I thought my wife had tried to schedule too much of our vacation. It turns out that it went great because she did. She is neurotic but it works"

So I am worried.

We arrive in MCO at 5:35pm. We take ME to CBR. Our Hoop De Doo dinner is at 8:30.
Sometimes I think we will be fine, others I start to worry we won't make it.

Can the grandparents and your family fit in the same vehicle? My thinking is if they show up seperately then it will be suspicious. If they ride with you then they can say that they are treating your boys to a special lunch afterwards without mom being there. Plus, they can just drive your vehicle home after the airport.

I am not one to ask about ME. We drive. We surprised our DD last year. It was awesome (as awesome as a 3yr old can be). We went to the zoo the first day and she thought we were on our way back home the 2nd day. She looks up and we are at WDW. She was so excited.

They have a minivan so I think what we settled on is they drive us, with the "special lunch" talk on the way.
This sounds terrible to say but my older son is begging me to go to "Vegas" with me (my friend there he wants to see). I hope he is really sad when we get to the airport, it will make the high even better!
Other news my friend from Vegas is here for the week, baby showers and other fun stuff. I hope she remembers our "trip"! She has so far but this is a face to face test

Completely unrelated to Disney update. Tonight was the town I live in Bicentennial celebration. Parade, music and fireworks.
The headliner was Lou Gramm, from foreigner. He happened to grow up here. When he was in high school he played in a band with my dad. We have run into him here and there, he still remembered my parents the last time we saw him.
Anyways it was great to see him live in stage!
The kids enjoyed the night, I was thinking about Disney fireworks!!

I have not slipped but I do say when I go to "Vegas" often. I am almost starting to believe I am going there, lol.

I received a pin lanyard I ordered from Ebay yesterday! This is for my younger son, my older one has one from his first trip. They don't usually carry it every where during the trip but they like to get a few pins. Thinking the 4 yr old will be excited this time for it.
76 days
Looking ahead at this month, we are busy and it will go by quickly. Then is will be August, that leaves us just a month! Can't wait!

Non Disney update.

I went to see Kid Rock last night with a friend and my brother. I am not a Kid Rock fan but my friend loves him, so I agree to go. Turns out to be a great night, and we got picked to sit in the front row, from lawn seats!! Awesome night
