:wave2: HIYA MISS! pixiedust: HAPPY BELATED BDAY! pixiedust: hope your day was extra special! are we friends on FB yet? If not, feel free to look me up and add me :) Marie Buttree

:lmao: YES that's sure hard to give up!! I've never gone NON- CL, so that's walking in foreign territory for me!!! but DS Andrew (16) said he would forgo snack room/ CL to try DLX dining plan next time!!! Thanks for the welcome back, I am feeling better -- focusing on helping my cousin from England plan his trip for May, then even though my next stay is about 2.5 yrs away, it'll go fast, I am sure.....and I have you all to keep me company in the meantime! Do you like my Kidani 1 BDRM villa idea?? it sure seems to have everything we need, and we do know that we love the AKL hotel as a whole, so I am sure, Kidani will be beautiful.

Marie we LOVED Kidani!!! We loved AKL CL too, but I liked Kidani more!!! The room was huge! We drove and parking was very convenient!! The bedroom was amazing and DS loved his sleeper chair, If you loved AKL...you will love Kidani!!!!

Hi everyone! I have been MIA for a while. I've been trying to read along as much as possible, but life is just busy right now! I am changing our trip to May. I want to try to hit SWW. I think we may overlap with Jenny! I would love to meet you guys. :)

Jeanette AoA sounds super cool. You get a big thumbs up from me. :thumbsup2

 Hey sis!!! Yeah...I changed to POR Royal rooms...it's cheaper, I love AoA but I can't see booking a suite when its just us girls :confused3

Sarah lots and lots of positive thoughts for you!

Checked into OKW today ..... love it!!! Pool sun and Jimmy Buffet music. What's not to love??? And did I mention that it is also the cheapest points of the DVC resorts? :beach: Weather has finally cooled down a bit and the crowds also seem to have thinned out some. Just had the Holiday sandwich from EOS for dinner .... yummy!!! :thumbsup2

Heading to Epcot tomorrow for a little more F&W and some shopping.

Sorry I'm not multiquoting but I'm on my Kindle but I did want to say hi to all my RC friends!!! :wave2:
 Hi Mama!!!! OKW looks so pretty in the pictures!!!

Thank you, Jeanette... don't apologize! And, you don't stink! :p I was being an Incognito Birthday Girl. Melissa caught me though... :tiptoe:
Sneaky...:lmao:

UGH!! :headache: I just got excited...got an email from Disney Destinations!! But no, it was just for Disneyland. :(
I got the same one.... (priced it out of course ;))

I absolutely love staying at multiple resorts on 1 trip. I am counting down the days until our New Years trip. We arrive on 12/29 for 2 nights at Pop Century, then I booked 1 night at the Dolphin for new years eve to be able to walk over to Epcot, and finally, checking in New Years Day for 6 nights at Animal Kingdom Kidani in a savannah view studio. Am I crazy to be switching around so much?! My Itinerary sounds PERFECT to me! ;)

Congrats on ringing in the 2013 in the World!!! :cheer2:

Sounds great to me! We love the super splits! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

I was actually just checking out the Dolphin for NYE myself. We are arriving 12/30 and they are sold out for that night, but I did notice yesterday that they have Epcot view rooms still available for 12/31-1/2. I think I'm about to make some changes :yay:

Hi to everyone else! I've been guilty of reading but not posting again for a few days :rolleyes1

Just back from girls only F&W trip. Stayed at Pop for 1 night and Dolphin for 3. 1st time at both loved them.
My upcoming trip I've switched from Poly to BC, now after walking over to BC and visiting Poly on this trip I think I'm switching back. Love BC pool and the boardwalk area but love being on monorail . BC just doesn't have that same magical feeling to me, so I believe I'm switching back

:rotfl: I've been checking out the Dolphin too, with the Nurse Discount...it's a great discount but rates are still kinda high in comparison to BC/BWI with the discount...Epcot view though on NYE!!!:yay:

Welcome back!!! I know what you mean about BC..it's wonderful, and the location is great, but if you love that MK magic...:upsidedow

Girls only trip during F & W is awesome, hope you had a great time!

Being on the monorail is great. Our family loves the Polynesian-hence my location:)

But now that they're in college we're trying the Boardwalk in January for the first time.
Much easier to go over and get a Gran Marnier or Margarita!

I have contemplated switching from Poly to BC to be within walking distance from EPCOT but as you said, Poly just has a certain magical feel and is a great location!!!

That sounds so nice!! :cheer2:
One day I'll be there for NYE. :cheer2:

debrn - I know exactly what you mean. I love the Epcot area so much, but it is still missing the magic for me. I have to have at least some time at an MK resort or I just don't get that same feeling. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip though! :cool1:

pas - When you compare S/D to one of the Disney Epcot resorts with a discount it just doesn't price out well enough for me to jump the Disney ship. But compared to Disney's holiday rack it is looking mighty awesome. Plus I love that you can book an Epcot view as a category. Wonder why you can't at the other resorts?

I do like your switch, the RR look very lovely and fitting for a Princess only trip! princess:

So, here's my new tentative plan

12/30 - CR MKV CL
12/31 & 1/1 - Dolphin Epcot View
1/2 - BC CL (yeah, I snuck that in there :confused3 We just can't resist that stinking snack room even at the BC).

This prices out almost exactly the same as my current CR TPV/BC GV split. It seems like a no brainer to me to gain CL and get to watch the special fireworks for both MK and Epcot from the comforts of my room in my jammies. Plus, we love the multi-split! :thumbsup2

The big downer is that the Dolphin is prepaid non-refundable :scared1: I'm not even sure it's legal for a RCer to book something like that! :lmao:

:rotfl2: Yeah..nonrefundable...it's like playing a slot machine...sometimes you don't get anything out of it :lmao: The price we pay:sad2:

I like the new plan!!! MK and Epcot fireworks!!! And YAY for snack rooms!!!!

I truly can't do deluxe without that snack room, I am hopeless :p

The girls are so good to go along with my changes...HRH only had one meltdown when I brought up GF :scared:

That damn castle cost me fortune during our trips!
Not only did we have to stay CL -love the lounge:goodvibes But I had to have lagoon view and face castle. I'd go to bed and wake up looking at the castle.

I tried to book garden views but would always go back to lagoon view. Even my DD said we were spending to much money

There's that pesky snack room...I totally understand :rolleyes1

Marie - HA HA I just made the big DS's eye appt for his annual. He had a hard time with the contacts as well in the beginning. We did the dailies for a few years now are finally going to ask for the 2 week ones. Snow tires sound so foreign to me know, growing up in New England we obviously had them, but no need for them in South Florida ;) oh and I may FB stalk you, lol!

Miss - DS didn't get any worse, so off to school we went today ;) oh and sorry to rat you out with your bday, lol! But you deserve lots of bday love!!!!

Jeanette - glad the girls are going along with he royal rooms!!

Jenna - your trip sounds great! I think if my kids were older and we stayed longer I would consider a split stay.

i_heart - why would you change CR? I think that is such a perfect spot for NYE!!!! OH NO! NO NON-REFUNDABLE ROOMS ALLOWED!!!!!

Debrn - I know what you mean, we fell in love with YC but my crew were totally lacking any love for WL this weekend. Funny how everyone feels the magic at different places.

Waving to Dani, Shelia, Linda, Muffycat and anyone else I am missing!

Melissa

sjs314: Thanks. Still another chance to meet... I checked my ADRs last night and I actually have Whoopie CP for Dec 1st and 2nd, too. My cousin will be hooking up with so we made a few to cover our bases til he decides which cruise to take... :rotfl:

babyberger:
Glad your trip got better and better! We really like LTT, too. Glad you all picked CR for your Feb trip. We will be at CR late Feb/Mar. One of our faves. Wishing you all the best Friday. :rainbow:

pas130: Royally terrific! princess: I hope the pas's are feeling better!

chimo2u: Welcome back. Your next trip with BWI/Kidani sounds swell. :thumbsup2 Keep warm.

Grumpy Grandma: Do tell all about your thoughts on OKW. I have a first-time ressie there soon and I'd love to hear your thoughts. :listen:

Basketlacey: Separate rooms are a must. When My BFF and I take our annual trip we always pay for jumbo suites with separate bedrooms to get away from one another. Nothing like going away with another person, couple or group to hit home just what creatures of our own habits we all become. ;)

Missoutandabout: Hope you had a great :joker: birthday, are you a Libra, too? Can't even imagine BOG lunch atmosphere with that dreaded Fantasyland squeeze. :crowded:

Jungle Cruiser: Best wishes for the clinical trial so you're your healthy best for WDW for NYE! :earsboy:

Hello ladies. :goodvibes Hope everyone's Tuesday is going well so far. Another Target trip logged. This time a torture device was purchased for the dog... a halloween costume. :lmao:

Jen: I got one last night, too! It was actually for Disney World but for the Play, Stay, Dine promotion.

HIYA MISS! HAPPY BELATED BDAY! pixiedust: hope your day was extra special! are we friends on FB yet? If not, feel free to look me up and add me Marie Buttree

Thanks, Marie! I got to sleep in -- best. present. ever. Incoming friend request, it'll be from the non-Melissa person. :thumbsup2

Yeah...I changed to POR Royal rooms...it's cheaper, I love AoA but I can't see booking a suite when its just us girls

Sneaky...:lmao:

:faint: I'm setting a stopwatch for the next change! :lmao: Seriously though, those rooms are REALLY cute. We quite enjoyed our POR stay. We'd happily stay there again ... just not this January when we're only doing 2 days of parks in 5 days.

Haha, YES! I am really just inadvertently sneaky. Honest. :thumbsup2

Oh, sounds like an excellent plan to me! (Darien? My hubs used to work at Argonne.) :goodvibes

I like this new tentative plan. :thumbsup2 We need an official ruling on the non-refundable rate... it certainly sounds illegal for us. :rotfl2:

Miss - DS didn't get any worse, so off to school we went today oh and sorry to rat you out with your bday, lol! But you deserve lots of bday love!!!!

Yay, glad he's feeling better. And no worries about ratting me out, I don't mind in the slightest. :rotfl: :goodvibes

Yep, this is the same for our family... at least on my side anyway. :rolleyes1

Missoutandabout: Hope you had a great :joker: birthday, are you a Libra, too? Can't even imagine BOG lunch atmosphere with that dreaded Fantasyland squeeze.

Thank you for the birthday wishes! Yes, another Libra here... is this why decision making takes us a long time, weighing all the pros and cons?
