YES that's sure hard to give up!! I've never gone NON- CL, so that's walking in foreign territory for me!!! but DS Andrew (16) said he would forgo snack room/ CL to try DLX dining plan next time!!! Thanks for the welcome back, I am feeling better -- focusing on helping my cousin from England plan his trip for May, then even though my next stay is about 2.5 yrs away, it'll go fast, I am sure.....and I have you all to keep me company in the meantime! Do you like my Kidani 1 BDRM villa idea?? it sure seems to have everything we need, and we do know that we love the AKL hotel as a whole, so I am sure, Kidani will be beautiful.
Hi everyone! I have been MIA for a while. I've been trying to read along as much as possible, but life is just busy right now! I am changing our trip to May. I want to try to hit SWW. I think we may overlap with Jenny! I would love to meet you guys.
Jeanette AoA sounds super cool. You get a big thumbs up from me.![]()
Sarah lots and lots of positive thoughts for you!
Checked into OKW today ..... love it!!! Pool sun and Jimmy Buffet music. What's not to love??? And did I mention that it is also the cheapest points of the DVC resorts?Weather has finally cooled down a bit and the crowds also seem to have thinned out some. Just had the Holiday sandwich from EOS for dinner .... yummy!!!
Heading to Epcot tomorrow for a little more F&W and some shopping.
Sorry I'm not multiquoting but I'm on my Kindle but I did want to say hi to all my RC friends!!!![]()
Sneaky...Thank you, Jeanette... don't apologize!And, you don't stink!

I absolutely love staying at multiple resorts on 1 trip. I am counting down the days until our New Years trip. We arrive on 12/29 for 2 nights at Pop Century, then I booked 1 night at the Dolphin for new years eve to be able to walk over to Epcot, and finally, checking in New Years Day for 6 nights at Animal Kingdom Kidani in a savannah view studio. Am I crazy to be switching around so much?! My Itinerary sounds PERFECT to me!![]()

I was actually just checking out the Dolphin for NYE myself. We are arriving 12/30 and they are sold out for that night, but I did notice yesterday that they have Epcot view rooms still available for 12/31-1/2. I think I'm about to make some changes
Hi to everyone else! I've been guilty of reading but not posting again for a few days![]()
Just back from girls only F&W trip. Stayed at Pop for 1 night and Dolphin for 3. 1st time at both loved them.
My upcoming trip I've switched from Poly to BC, now after walking over to BC and visiting Poly on this trip I think I'm switching back. Love BC pool and the boardwalk area but love being on monorail . BC just doesn't have that same magical feeling to me, so I believe I'm switching back

Sounds great to me! We love the super splits!

debrn - I know exactly what you mean. I love the Epcot area so much, but it is still missing the magic for me. I have to have at least some time at an MK resort or I just don't get that same feeling. I'm glad you enjoyed your trip though!
pas - When you compare S/D to one of the Disney Epcot resorts with a discount it just doesn't price out well enough for me to jump the Disney ship. But compared to Disney's holiday rack it is looking mighty awesome. Plus I love that you can book an Epcot view as a category. Wonder why you can't at the other resorts?
I do like your switch, the RR look very lovely and fitting for a Princess only trip!
So, here's my new tentative plan
12/30 - CR MKV CL
12/31 & 1/1 - Dolphin Epcot View
1/2 - BC CL (yeah, I snuck that in thereWe just can't resist that stinking snack room even at the BC).
This prices out almost exactly the same as my current CR TPV/BC GV split. It seems like a no brainer to me to gain CL and get to watch the special fireworks for both MK and Epcot from the comforts of my room in my jammies. Plus, we love the multi-split!![]()
The big downer is that the Dolphin is prepaid non-refundableI'm not even sure it's legal for a RCer to book something like that!

Or a Grey Goose SlushieBut now that they're in college we're trying the Boardwalk in January for the first time.
Much easier to go over and get a Gran Marnier or Margarita!
That darn castle & the tiki torchesI have contemplated switching from Poly to BC to be within walking distance from EPCOT but as you said, Poly just has a certain magical feel and is a great location!!!

That damn castle cost me fortune during our trips!
Not only did we have to stay CL -love the loungeBut I had to have lagoon view and face castle. I'd go to bed and wake up looking at the castle.
I tried to book garden views but would always go back to lagoon view. Even my DD said we were spending to much money
Jeanette - glad the girls are going along with he royal rooms!!
pas130: Royally terrific!I hope the pas's are feeling better!

Miss - DS didn't get any worse, so off to school we went today oh and sorry to rat you out with your bday, lol! But you deserve lots of bday love!!!!
Basketlacey: Separate rooms are a must. When My BFF and I take our annual trip we always pay for jumbo suites with separate bedrooms to get away from one another. Nothing like going away with another person, couple or group to hit home just what creatures of our own habits we all become.
Missoutandabout: Hope you had a greatbirthday, are you a Libra, too? Can't even imagine BOG lunch atmosphere with that dreaded Fantasyland squeeze.
