I hope I've firmed up our dining plans for the short Nov. trip this morning. We'll be traveling with our ds, ddil, and gs, 5 years old. I tried to choose places for dinner with gs in mind, hopefully less waiting, but lots of choices.
Here's the lineup:
Day 1 Cape May Cafe
Day 2 Garden Grill
Day 3 Tusker House--late lunch, followed by watching Jammin' Jungle parade. Then we leave, move to hotel near reception site.

Kona is entirely underrated. It's a real hidden gem. The food there is always fabulous, no matter if you go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

But, I see it like this, we are never going to beat our 40% off. Our discount is guaranteed for this next trip...but whether they will extend it again for 2014 is unknown....so get while the getting is good I guess!

Plus, I keep thinking about how much cheaper a Poly trip would have been last month and it's more expensive for this trip obviously because of the CL but also because we are not going during value season... Oh well! It may never get better than this....and, our CL room per night rate is less than the rack rate for a regular room, so I guess I'll just look at it that way, right?!?

Anyways, here's hoping this sticks! But...a generic ticker until then....

Babyberger - we have gone during Presidents day/week and it was not bad at all!! I mean, our trip before that was during Thanksgiving week which was a mob scene so maybe our perception was skewed, but we loved our Feb trip!!

LMAO! I love that you changed your mind again! But it is because of you I am now thinking of changing my Jan trip from POR to Poly (depending on discounts).

Melissa - I hear you about school holidays and such. We have a short 2day school week in October and I think mine are going to miss those days so we can do a full week trip. Right now, I am booked Mon - Sun but might back it up to Sunday to Sun. We have a four day weekend in October too but I don't think we can do both. Dh won't let me get APs which is probably A good thing lol!

Mm - love the change. Poly is on my wish list! I absolutely love the look and feel of that place!

Yeah, it is my AP's that are getting me in trouble this year We haven't had them in over a year so I am like a kid in the candy store again! I keep looking at the school calendar and the crowd level calendars figuring it when we can add more trips.

Jeanette We had SUCH a fabulous time with you. It really was one of the highlights of my trip. Danimal keeps asking about your kids because I told him HRH was around his age.

I think the kiddos would get along great!!! HRH prefers hanging with boys. She loves video games and being very very active! Plus she loves animals, bugs, lizards....she's a cool chick!!!! All my kiddos are easygoing....I'd love to do a BBQ before it gets chilly out Still have to get Sarah & Janet over too....but need the germies away before Sarah can come

Thank you ALL for the birthday wishes I spent the day sick on the couch....grrrrrr...but it's OK after 4 nights of work I needed the rest...plus I still got my ice cream cake...AND I didn't get the fever til after we went out to breakfast

Pas It's Poly/BW/BC. I prefer Yc, but BC is what I got. Not very original I know. I feel like it's our May trip all over again. BW Cl will be new and in May we were at YC cl so BC Cl is new. We usually spend the first night at a mod or offsite since we don't arrive to after 5pm, and that if everything goes well. I may book the first night at AKl if I can get a standard room. A standard room at Akl is not much more than a mod.

Jen The first Star Wars weekend. May is my favorite month to go. Perfect weather, and lots of activity between the F&G festival, and Star Wars weekend. I love the free concerts in Epcot.

Disney had a glitch and the system did not ask for a CC - it is required for BOG and Disney will cancel any BOG ADR without a CC by midnight tonight!
