Best deal: cheer competition package or TA?

It's my first post! Woo hoo!

My question is this: in your experience, am I going to get a better overall deal going with the package deal put together by my daughter's cheer competition company, or am I going to get a better deal going through a travel agent? Obviously, I am going to check with some TAs once we determine the number of nights and what level of resort we are going to stay at.

It depends. Can’t definitively say which one will be the better deal. Best contact a TA, let them know the cheer options/pricing and ask if they see anything better. You can also check Disney’s site for offers on your dates. Those are likely the same as what the TA will have. Generally the comp package will have less options than the general public discounts.

When our kids had a school package deal at WDW, we found renting DVC points was the best deal for us.
