Sheraton Safari/Starwood lowest rate guarantee

I checked Hotelmartusa, it does not offer it for your dates.
Check other travel sites, start with DreamsUnlimited.com (Board Sponsor), Hotelkingdom.com, Hotels.com, Orbitz.com, Expedia.com, Travelocity.com, OrlandoInfo.com, etc.

On most sites there is an advanced search or similiar term that allows you to type in a key word such as "Sheraton" or "Holiday Inn"

Good Luck

I just got the Safari for $75/night (incl. taxes) on AAA's site for my dates May 8-11. Plus I had enough Starwood points to get a night free!!! The only thing is it has to be paid for at the time of the reservation. So for $150 I'm there for 3 nights!!! :teeth:

To anyone who's been there, where's it located in relation to DTD or any other landmark??? Thanks!

Thanks winterman!

I managed to find it for $83 (tax included) which Starwood honored (less 10%), so we're pretty pleased. It's not a huge bargain, but it's too not bad for spring break!

From DTD, you take Hotel Plaza Boulevard to the end (SR 535). Crossroads Shopping Center would be straight ahead. You take a left at those lights. Sheraton Safari is on the far corner of the intersection at the next set of lights one block down (Palm Parkway). Total driving time from DTD (if you hit all green traffic lights) would be about 5 minutes tops.

Thanks for the directions! It's closer to DD than I thought! Great location!

We just got this hotel too-- but on priceline. I was really pleased when it came up-- I was actually hoping for it!! The only thing I didn't like was the website said the pool closes at dusk!?! I thought most hotel pools stayed open until at least 9pm, some even 11pm. Anyone know if this is true????

As I answered in the other thread where you asked this question, the slide is only open until dusk. The pool itself is open until 11 pm but as long as you are quiet, they will not mind you being in longer.
