I have a stay at Stella this week and was sent the email for online check-in Friday evening. Saturday afternoon I got an email saying thank you for your updated reservation with a higher rate than I booked at! I did not make any changes to the reservation other than completing online check-in and it took me over 40 minutes on the phone with Universal and Lowes being transferred back and forth to get it straightened out. It was not a huge amount of money but the premise for me, I feel like atleast some will not notice and end up paying the higher rates. I was told its a glitch in the system and dont know which resorts are affected other than Stella but wanted to put out a warning for those who do online check-in.
