Shelli and Tony~ Randy's Photos, MK Photos and AK Honeymoon shoot added

Oh ma gosh!! I just LOVE your ring! It is soo beautiful. I bet it took awhile to design, actually I know it did!;) I just can't wait til my next vay-k to WDW! Less then 3 months! I love the dresses and my favorite is the one for your beautiful and sweet daughter!;) The flowers will look great. I think the chocolate cake with peanut butter sounds delicious! Also the marble cake with the white chocolate mousse! I can't wait to taste it!:rotfl: Good luck to you:bride: and your DF:groom: ! Remember to be nice to your daughter!:rotfl2:

Love you mom! princess:

I just caught up with your PJ. The date is so close...best of luck. Jope everything works out just as you have imagined. Also, I love the dress and ebay item you won. Congrats

Well as a member of the peanut butter mousse society, or whatever we named ourselves on the cake thread, I checked with my WC (Juliana) about the mousse and a specific design for the intimate cake. I didn't want an upgrade, but as a cake decorator myself, I wanted to know what I was getting so there wouldn't be any disappointment.

Apparently, if you are having an intimate ceremony, your cake is made at the bakery closest to the site (Boardwalk Bakery for SBP, YBC bakery for the gazebo, GF for the Pavilion, etc...). I found that out the design I wanted was a Boardwalk Bakery design and I am getting married at the YBC. So it may depend on which bakery you use as to which fillings are available as well.

Anyway, I am happy to announce that we CAN get the pb mousse and the design I want ! :cool1:

I also got another email from Rosie confirming my last couple of items. So she was going to get my proposal done and out to us soon. As a matter of fact, when I spoke with Juliana, she said Rosie had talked to her today about our floral and photography, so I should have it all ready to submit within the next week or so.

Now....if I could just get the guys measured for their tuxedos......:scared1:

Measurement.....measurements....measurement.........

I bumped into someone today and this is what they told me.

Congratulations from one Peanut Butter Mousse Society member to another! :rotfl:

Out of curiosity, did your planner confirm that there's a bakery at the Yacht Club? I was given to understand that the Boardwalk bakery is the only one in that area and it makes all the cakes - this changes everything! Well, OK, it's a tiny detail, I know, but....I'm a control freak! :lmao:

lurkyloo,

This was the response I got from Juliana last Thursday:

We can definitely decorate the cake in that style, but there may be an upgrade charge since the cake pictured is from the Boardwalk Bakery, and we are at the Yacht Club (different bakery).

We can also do the different flavors on each layer, but again there may be an upgrade charge. I will check for you, and let you know.

When she called me back Friday evening she confirmed they could do the mousse and the decorations they way I wanted and said they didn't mention an upcharge so she is crossing her fingers there isn't one. As for the decorations, it isn't anything out of the ordinary, it is one of the many standard intimates, I just wanted to make sure I got a specific one. No fondant or anything like that.

Oh yeah...I also returned our planning kit today ! Getting closer !!!

I just realized (with the reminder help of my DD) that I have not posted DF's tuxedo...well, it will be if he gets the measurements done. Can you tell this is my "nagging point" for my DF at this point ? :rotfl2: Gotta have a little fun while we are at it....right ?

That is so darling, where ever did you find the vest with mickeys?

omg, what an adorable tux!!! My DF would have 2 strokes and a heart attack if I asked him to wear that. Your DF is such a great sport:thumbsup2

Well, I had to turn my pleasant reminders into "honey, unless you want to get married in your unmentionables, you and your BM need to get measured for your tuxes as we are only two months out." He called back within minutes to let me know that he and the BM are missing out on a Saturday golfing excursion to get measured this weekend.

Just a minor correction to the note above. Yes it is true this particular DF and his BM have been rather laxed when it has come to running out to get measured. I am sure it's just a guy thing but there is something about the entire process that just seem to be a little overkill. Don't want to put any dampers on anything, don't misunderstand, but here we are 2 months out and we need to go and get measured....and for what? The day we arrive at WDW guess what we get to do? You guessed it...we get to get measured...again. :lmao: Of course this is presumably for last minute alterations et al' however, what if I decide to go on that McDonalds diet between now and then and beef up by 35 lbs? Or conversely, what if I drop 25 lbs between now and then (or what if the BM does either of those?) Doesn't that kinda make the entire purpose of getting measured so far in advance rather pointless? :confused3 Again, don't want to be a little stinker in this, I guess it's just the way a guy tends to think....lest I say anymore or I'll find myself in divorce court before the wedding :scared:

Well in the best interest on harmony myself and my BM are planning to do the measurement thing this Saturday morning (I am sure you will all be awaiting the results with baited breath :rotfl: ) However, it is my BM's anniversary this Saturday so nothing is confirmed.....yet.....afterall, he does have to get permission to do this. As for missing the round of golf......we'll just leave it at that "we're missing a round of golf". I just hope whatever I and my BM measure in at we make the measurements come wedding day. :scared1:

Just to be clear in case there are any doubts.........there is no one in this world I want to be with more than my DF (DB to be).

:dance3: I have the tux measurements in hand ! :dance3:

And the guys are golfing tomorrow

My DD's dress came in a couple weeks ahead of schedule. So we drove down to the bridal store yesterday and had her fitting ! Man I can't believe how much she has grown !! There are very few alterations needed. We also came up with a plan for my sleeves/straps. It will just have to be a surprise, I guess. I can't really explain it...but it's going to look great !
