this storm seems to have come out of nowhere
the kids were in our pool a half hour ago

tomorrow's forecast is rain and thunderstorms all day
the girls are secretly woo hooing
they were supposed to have a game
and it is the sleepover night at the day camp
only one night they camp out
or if it rains
they sleep in the church

The rain has been sticking around these days.

The weather forecaster said that for June, by this date, we would usually have a little over an inch of rain. We already have over 5 inches of rain.

Also, over the last 45 days, 25 of them have been rainy.

not ridiculously hot
but sunny and breezy, quite nice

It is raining here (cheers from the DD's)
and we have lots of "stuff" to schlep to the sleepover
pillows,sleeping bags, clothes for tomorrow, lunches
it is going to take several trips from the van to the church
in the rain

they will sleep inside
instead of in tents
(musty smelly tents)
and no game (if it keeps up)
so not missing a second of sleepover fun


seems like every year they have a game on the sleepover night

It's a beautiful day here today! 65 degrees and sunny.

Yesterday and today make it the first 2 days in a row of sunny weather, that we've had in weeks. We're expecting rain starting tomorrow, through Saturday.
