Hi everyone!
i am just back from Curves this AM and very excited. I got weighed and measured for my first month. Listen to this - I am down 4 lbs and 6 inches according to them!!!
:thewave:
My scale does not agree with theirs, so I am undecided how I will log that, but 6 inches is pretty awesome huh?! I just can't get over that! Imagine if I actually start going three times a week like I'm supposed to!
I didn't go to Curves last night. Again I got held up at work. Things should settle down in the office after next week. Of course then I am into my busiest time of year on the home front, so Curves three times a week will still be a challenge. But I am determined to keep plugging along. Now I have numbers where I can see my results!
The food thing continues to be a struggle. I am going to try to get to the grocery store and stock up on some precut veggies, like celery, carrots, cauliflower and such. Maybe if it is here and already to go I will do better. It is worth a try anyhow! Planning ahead seems to really help me stay OP, so I need to focus on that a little more.
Goals:
1) no cheat - 16/21
2) vitamin - 21/21
3) water - 18/21
4) exercise - 8/12
I am doing well on my exercise goal, but it will be a challenge to meet it. I need to go to Curves Sat AM, and Mon, Tues, and Fri next week to make it. I CAN do it!
Water intake has been very good the last 2 days. I am home today, so I need to concentrate on keeping that going in a different environment. Focus Sharon, focus! And of course, it is the weekend, where I usually fall apart with the food. I need to keep thinking about those numbers from Curves and just "walk away" from the off plan stuff. I need to formulate a plan for my food because as I jsut said, that makes it easier for me.
Okay, today will be
B - low fat Blueberry muffin
L - McDs grilled chicken salad
D - hamburger on george Foreman grill
S - popcorn!
Alright, that seems doable, reasonable and I don't think I will feel deprived in any way. I should be able to stick with that.
Well I'm off to get some cleaning and laundry done. Sorry this was so long, but I needed to write it all down.
Have a great weekend!

Had to watch a friends son in the morning, so I couldn't get out. It looks like I won't make my goal of 12 days of exercise this month, but I am hoping to hit 11/12!
I brought breakfast and lunch to work with me, so no excuses for going off plan today.
I've never been to Salem, so it should be interesting. BUT, I am room mother, so I have to provide breakfast before the kids get on the bus. I need hot chocolate, muffins, bagels for 26 students in the school by 6:15 AM.
And we aren't scheduled to return until 10:30 PM, so its gonna be a VERY long day. I'm gonna try to get to bed by 9 PM tonight!
) Maybe tracking the water on WW will be enough to keep me on track.
I am okay with that because I am confident if I had felt better, I would have gone those 2 days. I will continue to work towards improving that number in November.
I think I would still go. There is always Epcot (not a lot of rides, but a lot to do), DTD ( Fun and Free! As long as you don't buy anything.
), MGM (has a couple of shows and the dining is an experience all it's own), and of course, the Disney outlet malls as well. Maybe if the kids want to go bad enough, they will compromise and ride some rides as well. Is there a specific reason they don't care for rides or is it just rides in general? You could also check out some other Orlando attractions and maybe even the beach as well.
