Sharing Memory Maker

Hello, so we are gearing up for our trip for next week, and I haven't bought memory maker yet.
My brother in law has already purchased one.
So my questions is do I not purchase and just use his.
I hate not being primary account, and not being able to edit but would be nice to not shell out another $149 dollars at this point.
I head from coworker she had a coupon when she went 5 months ago for $50 off sent to her before her trip, but no such luck here.

also if I do buy memory maker and we have 2 in our account, do we both see all pictures and its just like having another person with editing privileges?

Just use his. I don't see why you would buy your own if he already has it.

On my trip in 2015, my brother-in-law's family bought the Memory Maker. Since we were all friends in MDE, I could see all pictures of our entire group (9 people)

Here is what I experienced (then .. it may be different now):
1) Via the MDE app, I can only see MY photos that were scanned with my Magic Band. I could not see theirs. But they photos would show up almost immediately.
2) Via the MDE website (when I would check back at the hotel), I could see ALL photos from ANYONE in our group (the grandparents, my brother-in-law's family and kids and my family)
3) After the trip, I had to wait for them to download all the photos and give them to me via a flash drive. I could not download them myself (even though I could see them all). But other than that, I didn't feel like I needed control of the photos.

I found it fun to share because they went a few days earlier then us and we could see their photos as they were taken and see the progress of the day. While there together, we could see photos of each other despite not doing the same things.

We got some great shots that we probably wouldn't have gotten ourselves.

My whole group is on my purchased memory maker for this trip. All of us can see all photos on the MDE app, but the app is currently experiencing a glitch (confirmed via phone to photopass support). As the primary, I am the only one in my group that is seeing photos without a watermark, and I am the only one able to download and share. The CM I spoke with yesterday assured me that my entire group would be able to download and share all of our photos. As of right now my husband and mother-in-law still see them as watermarked images.
