Sharing a Salad

Has anyone shared a salad as an appetizer at California Grill? Is this allowed? I don't even know if it would be big enough to share, but I do like a salad with my meal.

I've seen photos of the CG food, looks pretty small.

I don't think an appetizer salad is big enough to share. Just get one for yourself.

Yeah, at $16 a pop, i think I'll pass on the salad.

- Yes you can.
- We shared appetizers and they are VERY small.
- After our first time ^ we never ordered appetizers again.
- There was more value in ordering a sushi plate as an appetizer.
- Plus is the bread and butter - which is amazing - you can get more.

You'd think they would use a smaller plate so it didn't look so dwarfed.

Well, if there's bread, then I'm fine with that. I love bread!

You can share appetizers at California Grill. My family usually orders a couple and share it among us so everyone gets a taste. They do serve bread (and butter).

Here's another version of the Artisan Romaine salad (it was very good).

1) Correct.
2) It is hard to split a sprig of lettuce.
3) You CAN share, but neither would get much to eat.

NOTE: You can fare better if you ask for additional croutons.
