Share a secret about yourself....

Wow...can we have details or would that give away your identity? Now I'm curious!

My secret...let me first say I love my husband of seventeen years...but I have always wondered what happened to my first love from college. We dated five years and I thought for sure we would marry. He broke it off and married someone else eight months later (and no she wasn't expecting.) anyhow I have looked him up on the Internet to find news on him. Funny enough Jennasis I know he lives somewhere in the Triad.

And ruin the mystery? Muwahahaha!

Heck, I was going to say I pick my nose! Now I don't think that's a good enough response. :rotfl:

My secret that nobody knows is that I met my husband online. I've been intentionally vague about that to family and friends over the years, because at the time it was frowned upon. I know it's much more common today. And often a wonderful way to meet people. :)

I met my DH online too. I had made sure he lived in the area, so we would have the option to date if we were interested. We actually emailed for two months before we met....we met at Quiznos because we wanted to keep it casual in case either of us didn't feel comfortable. They closed the restaurant on us, and actually moved a small table and two chairs outside their store so we could continue our conversation! Anyway, long story short, we dated for one year, got engaged, and married one year later. I too was vague in telling family & friends, but they all know now.

I was nominated for an Emmy.

That's cool....the closest I've had a brush with fame, is a guy I work with was a Russian soldier in the first Red Dawn. I tell him that thanks to him, I can play 6 degrees to Kevin Bacon with myself.

And ruin the mystery? Muwahahaha!

Will you be my new claim to fame?

What's her name:I don't know?:confused3
Where does she live? Somewhere west of here.
What do you know about her? She's afraid to fly and has horses!
:rotfl:

Me too!!! But I think they know, i only had 1 Hershey kiss last time I checked, and I swear I didn't eat them alll!!:guilty:

ok, now can you put them back in???;)

my secret???? I watch cartoons when my kids aren't home.

I like Arthur and Clifford. Shhhhh

I like it when my husband is deployed.

Do I love him, miss him, and prefer him home? Yes...But I also enjoy my alone "free" time. :rolleyes1

I get what you are saying. DH is gone a lot on business and when he s home he goes to the grocery with me.:scared1: "why do you need that? how long does it take to pick out food? You read the labels?" etc.
Plus I get my TV control back!:cool1:

The grocery shopping kills me. I go with a budget... I stick to the budget. WE go with a budget, the bill is over 2X said budget for the same amount of food. Half of it snack cakes I'm sure ;)

I watch Disney Channel when I'm alone and laugh my butt off. ANT Farm, Jessie, and Shake it Up - I don't know why, but I find those shows very entertaining and hilarious.

The other day when my boyfriend called his mom, I overheard him talking to her about an engagement and that he found out my ring size. I feel so guilty because I was eavesdropping :sad1: but I was also SO excited that I called my mom immediately. We're already fighting about a wedding and my poor boyfriend has no idea that we know.

I don't know why I was being so snoopy either...I kind of wish I never heard anything because I love surprises!

I think I'd really actually love living alone.

I'm terrified of foam. Hate to look at it and touching it makes me scream. Not the Styrofoam type, but the soft kind like is on the hanger when you get your clothes back from the dry cleaner. Touching a Magic Eraser is a horrible experience for me.

I'm a paranormal junkie. I love ghosts, Bigfoot, the whole gambit. I love going to "haunted" places (but I'm not a ghost hunter!) and I have a terrible crush on Josh Gates. People who know me find this so hard to believe.

Oh, and I'm a Hold 'Em addict. Seriously.

Oh I get this....and it was not a secret for me either. Maybe the 25 yrs of marriage was the reason for liking having a break once in a while.

I had my goal list of what I wanted to do & learn while he was gone. Some of it got done. I learned some other things along the way. I went places with other people. He was fine with all of it. Didn't want me sitting home for a year crying. Hell, I didn't do nearly as much crying as I thought I would. Was on a military message board with very young wives who were dying without there husbands & couldn't go on without them. Gosh, that place was depressing. I didn't find them helpful at all. And mean & bitter they were too.

I had a good year, and was glad he was home when it was done.

And it was no secret. Everyone knew it. lol

I still lick the mixing spoon when I bake brownies or cakes or cookies! and I have never gotten sick from the raw dough!
