Would there be enough time for my DD to do the Wonderland Tea Party at GF and then us hop over to MK for the SADCT parade? The tea party is over at 2:30 and the parade will probably be at 3:00. I know this is cutting it WAY close, but do you think it's possible? Could I get a decent spot right as the parade is beginning? Where would you suggest?

You should have time, because it starts in Frontierland. You should still be able to come in and get a spot on Main street - it won't reach there until 3:30 probably. It's a very slow moving parade.

We did this last February. After the tea party we actually went to the gift shop at the GF and bought a dress and took the ferry from the GF to MK and got there in time for the parade.

The parade has changed a bit since last February. There are no longer any parade 'stops'--and without those the parade moves a bit faster than it used to. You could still probably make it from the GF though. Just stand by City Hall or the Fire Station at the front of the park--right after you enter. This is the very end of the parade so that gives you extra time. Generally it's not as crowded in this area as it is in FrontierLand. The parade USUALLY reaches this point around 3:25ish--I say 'usually' because on occasion the people running the parade have to speed it up due to circumstances we don't know about (weather, mechanical problems, CM illness etc). Good luck!

You didn't say when you'll be there. If it's around Easter-- I wouldn't bother. In all honesty, you'll be about 6 deep and difficult to see at the last minute. If it's during a quieter time, then I'd say you have no problem.

Thanks for the replies! We're gonna go for it! BTW, this will be probably be May 31st...a Tuesday. Think we'll still get a front row seat?

Unfortunally the day that we did this happened to be the day of the accident that prompted Disney to stop the parade stops. The parade was extremly short and fast that day and we still ended up seeing the entire thing and having a front row seat.

At the time, not knowing anything, we were bummed about the parade and didn't find out until returning home and reading the board.
