I just resized it and uploaded it to my own photobucket account.

If you like the size of mine... Right click on it, click "properties", copy the img code (the web address of the image), then click "cancel" on that open box. Open your control panel on disboards and go to edit your siggy... go to the portion of your button that has the img code in between the [ /img] and swap it out with the img code you copied from me. Make sense??? :lovestruc That should give you the smaller one like I have. If you have any questions, let me know. :lovestruc

Love your new signature layout. I need to do something to mine.

I finally did some sewing this morning so hopefully I can mark something off my list.

I can't wait to see your outfit.

I really like your layout... Everything fits perfectly - unlike mine, there are a few things that are hard to read. Andrea will probably complain because she can't read any of it. :rotfl2:

Yay!!! Whatdidya do?

I can't wait to see your outfit.

It's starting to look better, now that part of the shirt is done. I am not coming down again, until this outfit is finished. popcorn::

I had to come down and eat some breakfast, the dog was looking at me funny because my tummy was growling at him. :rotfl2: I also weighed in... not happy... I am thinking that I might not be eating enough??? Since I am working out a lot??? I was only down .8 this week - but I feel like it should have been at least 5 lbs. :confused3 Oh well, maybe I'll see it next week?

I am working on a skirt and Tee shirt for my little cousin. I have the skirt done now except for the elastic. I will be trying to get a shirt done this afternoon. Hopefully I can get pictures tonite so it can be marked off my list.

Lisa, you were right... I've started the Pooh characters.
Andrea, you were right... It was the Insa that was giving me problems.

I am still not thrilled with it, but... Here it is anyways.

I think it turned out great! I love the hunny pot!

D~

We do not have a wood burning stove, or a fireplace... however this wood is so old (possibly lead paint), I don't think I"d want to burn it in the house, even if I could. We have a fire pit out in our back yard... I am sure Josh will be burning all winter.

The new garage will be a 2 car +, there will be a wood shop in the back for Josh, the back will also walk out and we will have cold storage under his shop, we plan to put in attic rafters, so at some point, if we choose to, we can finish off the attic as a guest house or a rec room of some sort.

Since we are a 3 vehicle family, we will also pour an extra pad next to the driveway for our 3rd vehicle.

I am very excited to get the garage built, since I am sick and tired of cleaning all the snow off my cars in the winter, and even more excited to have somewhere to park my new car, one of the main reasons I didn't want a new car is because I really felt we needed a garage to put it in. Sometimes, you just have to do things one at a time and take it as it comes.
D~

Burning the wood outside in a fire pit sounds like a good idea. It sounds like the new garage will be really nice. So I am sure that this is a stupid question but what is "cold storage"? I am sure you will enjoy having a nice place to park your new car. When will you be able to start on the new garage?

D... sorry to hear about all the troubles in Middle School. My friend's son just started MS and is already running into trouble. He was running with the track team and a bunch on punky kids started shooting tacks at them that they had put in their Nerf guns. :headache: Luckily no one was seriously hurt but the police were involved and finally the kids were suspended from school.

Marriane that is too bad about your MS. Was this in Jamestown? My JrHS was a scene out of the TV show OZ when they are in prison.:scared1: It was torture for those 3 years but it definately made you stronger and when HS came around it was a piece of cake.:lmao:

This is the "something new" I've been working on... I always theme my outfits on characters, I've never themed one on an event before.

Really, I wanted to squeeze "Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party" on it... but it was just too small... I couldn't even get MNSSHP... so, it's just a mickey bat. :rotfl2:

But I made a matching trick-or-treat bag - so that was fun. :wizard:

Special thanks to Cajunfan for sending me some of her halloween fabric scraps - it was so much fun to try and create something with remnants. Not to worry - other people have sent me some fun things too - which a plan to use soon. :thumbsup2

OMG.. I love this and the little bag too:goodvibes

I love this one too. I think we are so hard on ourselves because we see every little detail we do. I think this one is just adorable.

Thank you! Today is your day - super excited for you and Megan - I hope you have wonderful travels today! :)

Thank you! :lovestruc

Cold storage is an area that isn't heated, and you can store items that don't mind a drastic temp change (Christmas decorations, lawn mowers - things like that). We won't be building the new garage until spring. We'll probably be burning the wood all winter.

This is just awful, I am so glad that no one was hurt and the authorities were called. I hate middle school, and I will be so happy when the girls are out of it. 8th grade has been the worst so far, the girls are soooo mean.

Thanks! :thumbsup2

Thank you... I agree. I just always feel like I am so critical of the items I make.

I have to work all day today. I did manage to get my next character cut out yesterday, so that always makes it easier on my procrastinator self, if I have a jump on things.

To everyone leaving for Disney over the next day or two... Have a safe trip and lots of fun - I can't wait to hear all about it! :wizard:

OMG! It never ceases to amaze me what kids will do these days! :scared1: Thank goodness no one was hurt - tacks in a nerf gun? :headache: My boys - well, let's just say if they EVER pulled a stunt like that :sad2:

And yes, Jamestown was the setting for my lovely MS torture. I love Jamestown, don't get me wrong, but sometimes, when you've been in class with the same 43 kids since Kindergarten and they still remember what you wore back in the 2nd grade, middle school can be pure hell on EARTH. Add to that loveliness the always fun "assume makes an @$$ out of u & me" and yeah, I was so glad we didn't have a high school on that 11 mile long & 1 mile wide island ;)

I think it's just adorable :)

D~ you must stop being so hard on yourself! I agree with Andrea! It is ADORABLE!

Off to the post office tomorrow to mail a certain duck shirt off to the land of lakes (how many are there again? :lmao: ) . . .

Sorry I've been so MIA! I just got the laptop back and then everything else went to pot around here . . . I can handle multiple friends having a crisis at once, but man, does my :surfweb: get cut into!

Now, could someone please give me a cliff notes version of the Disboutiquers thread, because I have NO CLUE where I left off over there and I need to catch up!

I kwym... I am the same way... If my girls ever did any of those things, they wouldn't see the light of day for a very long time. I feel like I put up with a lot of things that they do, but I don't tolerate being mean to others and I especially don't tolerate disrespect to your parents in any shape or form.

I know the feeling... I haven't had much time for anything this week.

Now, could someone please give me a cliff notes version of the Disboutiquers thread, because I have NO CLUE where I left off over there and I need to catch up!

LOL It hasn't been moving that fast lately, so I've been able to check in every few days (shame on me) and stay remotely caught up. If the girls wouldn't have lost all my quotes the other day, I would have felt better.

I think it's just adorable :)

Thank you. :lovestruc

I absolutely ADORE this! Cannot wait to see the others!

Thank you! :lovestruc

I feel like I am falling miserably behind in my outfit count... Grrrr.... I need to get caught back up again. I have to work today though, and do my grocery shopping for the weekend. DH and I have some to the conclusion that our pantry is stuffed full and we need to eat some of the food in there - so It's a meat buying week at our house.

ACK!!! I just looked at the time... I better work out quick before I go to work - then I was hoping to squeeze in a walk after work while I am in town. :lovestruc

D~

Missy, it was 5 days ago that you posted your last outfit!!! GET TO WORK!!!!!

I thought I would check in... it's been a couple of days.

I was able to get into my sewing room a bit on Friday, but I still didn't get anywhere near completing my next outfit. :confused3

I had planned on locking myself in my sewing room yesterday, but I had gotten a call from my dad - saying that his cell phone wasn't working. So, I had to make a 240 mile (round trip) inpromptu trip home to bring my dad a new phone. He is elderly and my brother is handicapped - so I am never comfortable being so far away and them not having an emergency phone at all times.

On the plus side, I got to take my dad and brother (the girls too) to our favorite "hole in the wall" restaurant - where Josh proposed to me - to have lunch. They use more than a lb. of butter on every sandwich... so D~ will be working out today, as well. I also got to take my wedding ring into the best jeweler in the world to have it cleaned and buffed. I got to say hello to a bunch of old friends at the mall. I drove the girls past our old house, so they could take pictures... they missed the first time, then I had to go around the block so they could take them again. ROFL. I also took them past their old school, so they could take pictures of that.

While we were gone, Josh made a HUGE dent in the garage clean up. The girls and I were amazed when we pulled up to the house last night!

It was a fun little road trip day, and it was super nice to be able to see my dad and brother. I carry a lot of guilt because we don't live near them any more, and I don't get to see them as often as I'd like.

So, today, I will be locking myself in my sewing room - and I won't be leaving until I finish this next outfit. I apologize for the delay - but sometimes life happens. :flower3:

D~

Good Luck D.

I plan on working on Cs Halloween skirt and starting a give today.
