Tigger - or T-I-double G-RRRRR!

aIMG_2057.jpg

AWWWWWWEEEE!!!!!! Love it!!!:lovestruc:lovestruc:lovestruc

:tigger: <---me bouncing back onto the scene for a quick :wave2:

I know I'm way behind on your PTR -- and a few others -- as well as disboutiqueiness. I haven't even been lurking. I've been so involved in "stressful sewing" that seeing what other people have happily created with nary a mishap hasn't appealed to me.

Enough about me. (Edited to add, there might be a little more about me. :rolleyes1 )

You've been busy while I haven't been around to crack the whip. (Thanks, Andrea, good job.) I love the newest two, Winnie and Tigger. I love the hint of their characters without their faces as a change of pace. And the Halloween outfit and bag are cute. I think Ginger's going to have to dress up as a ginger ale bottle for Halloween and Dorrrine will have to be an underwear model (with her original AG undies).

I'm not familiar with the fairies at all. Ask me about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles or Ghostbusters, maybe even Power Rangers, but I know zilch about fairies, but I  the fairy line you did and how they're similar while all quite different.

There have been a few days recently where I've thought I'll never sew again after I'm done with the film shoot. On the flip side, in prep for THIS WEEKEND when it all begins, we finally got eight electrical outlets in our basememnt. My sewing quadrant got quite disrupted to find the walls for the outlets as well as putting away trademarked stuff because part of the film will be shot in the basement. Yesterday as I was trying to put stuff back together I "saw" a lot of fabric I bought for a specific project, or specifically for Ginger and Dorrrine and for a fleeting moment I thought maybe I will sew again some day.

Let's see, what else would you like to know about me in your PTR :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

:car: Bummer about the trip to tend to your father. It's not easy when the distance is so great, but it sounds like you made the best of it while you were there.

:wave2: <----- now it means 'bye'
(I'll try to pop in again to tell you all about myself :thumbsup2 )

Good to *see* you! Keep hijacking D's ptr -- she won't mind! SO are you almost done with all the plunger goblets and Shoeniverse attire? Poor Ginger and Dorrrine must feel so neglected.

I LOVE all your AG doll outfits! DD would die if she had all those! Coming on board and subscribing!

Cheryl!!! I've been so worried about you! I was beginning to think you kidnapped my Godchild and busted out of the home... So glad to see you're OK. You can hijack my PTR anytime... Mi casa es su casa... as usual. :lovestruc

Really need and very appropriate colors for the Halloween season as well.

I was thinking that too... but I was hoping that people would notice that it's Tigger. LOL

Good to *see* you! Keep hijacking D's ptr -- she won't mind! SO are you almost done with all the plunger goblets and Shoeniverse attire? Poor Ginger and Dorrrine must feel so neglected.

Yup... everyone is welcome to hijack my PTR. :thumbsup2

This one turned out great! The outfits must be selling like hotcakes!

That turned out great. How does he walk?

Thank you... ROFL... Yes Marianne - how does Finn walk??? :confused3

OK - so Cheryl checked in... I am still waiting for Athene to get back from WDW - I am anxious to hear about her trip... Also waiting for Lisa and Judy (but they'll be a while yet)... Anyone else missing???? :surfweb:

I have to work today - so no sewing. I am off 3 days this week - but I have to make a fabric run at some point. I can't do my next outfit until I have the fabric - so I might have to take a break from the Pooh characters and do something else, because I can't go to the fabric store until Wed.

Oh and I just have to say - I got a new scent.... I was "forced" to go to Bath & Body Works the other day, because I was almost out of shower gel... so, they added a few new scents to their Signature line... I fell in love with "Country Chic"... :lovestruc ACK!!!! I smell so good today, I can't stop sniffing my arms. :rotfl2: So, if you get a chance to go to BBW... make sure you stop and sniff Country Chic. :cool1:

WELCOME!!!! :lovestruc I am so glad you found me... Is this the same mom of Sara Beth that's my friend on FB??? :hippie: And you just made the most adorable outfits for her birthday???

D~

Tigger & Pooh outfits are fab! Love it!

 it!

I completed an outfit today too!!!

I love this! Too cute! My kids love that show.

DD wants to be a mermaid for Halloween...so i really need to get moving on making some costumes!

Right now I'm trying to applique Alice onto an apron for a dress I'm making DD!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS

I did no sewing yesterday but I am going to do a little when I put the boy on the bus because I have about 40 minutes before I need to leave for work.

Thank you, I hope you are able to get some sewing done today. :lovestruc

Thank you - I can't wait to see what your Alice dress looks like. :thumbsup2

I plan to sew all day today... As I said earlier, I won't be doing any Pooh outfits until tomorrow - need to run to the fabric store - so I am going to work on a holiday outfit - I ordered some really adorable fabric last week and it came, so I've been anxious to do something with it.

I also got some pirate fabric that I am dying to cut into. :wizard:

I am also working on my mini-planner - it's turning out super, duper cute! :lovestruc

D~

Thanks D~ I am going to try before I leave for work. When I come home I really don't have a lot of time to go to the basement and sew.

I also have support group tonite so I won't have time tonite.

Well, I've managed to finish my next outfit, but DH is hogging the computer, and I am stuck on the laptop, so I guess I am going to have to wait to post it until morning.

As usual, I really don't like it, but I am sure everyone else will. LOL

:confused3 What you can't keep us in suspense!

I plan to do 3 Holiday outfits this season. This is the first... I am not happy with it at all... I took the top off 2 times and redid it entirely twice. I had it completely finished last night, and then I ripped it apart again today (for the 3rd time) becuase I didn't like the fit. I still don't like the fit, but I am afraid I will take a scissors to the whole thing if I try to rip it apart again. popcorn::

BTW... the main color of the dress is actually red - so if you are seeing hot pink (like I am) - it's actually red. :confused3

Anyways...

ETA: I was so disappointed in how this dress fit, I ripped it apart for a 4th time and redid it. Here's the link to that post:

Outfit #32 revised

Sooo, besides sewing... I've also been messing around in Photoshop a bit.

I've always made calendars for when we go to WDW, and I always bring this gigantic 3 ring binder... which really sucks to carry around. It's heavy, cumbersome, annoying, large...

So, a few weeks ago - I was perusing other PTRs, and happened upon PoisonApplePrincess' PTR, she had this fabulous idea for a mini planner... I loved the idea so much, I decided to borrow it for myself - with a link back to her PTR, of course...
Dear Santa, I'd like a Disney Trip for Christmas!

This is just a fantastic idea - and I just love it!

So, how do you make this mini planner, you ask? Well, first of all - go to your local Target to purchase yourself a $2.00 plastic photo book (found in the scrapbooking aisle) - of the 4x6 variety - just make sure that you can remove the cheesy cover that they have in the cover slot. :thumbsup2

Then you dabble in Photoshop for a while...

Here's the front cover I designed... It's not spectacular, by any means, but it gets my point across. :thumbsup2

cover-3.jpg

Inside the front cover will be a DDP checklist, so I can check off our meals as we go. I plan to design my own - which I haven't started yet.

The back cover will be one of my "famous" calendars... the fame is well known with in my immediate family - in case you were wondering. :thumbsup2

Here is our food budget from our 2008 trip... Yes, I know, I am a bit obsessive as a planner - but I will have you know, we added up our food receipts when we got home, and we came in at -$8.00. To me, that's impressive. :rolleyes1

I plan to update the planner as I finish the pages - so that will give everyone something fun to look forward to... Besides my AG outfits, of course. :surfweb:

I love the dresses and that mini planner :worship: OMG  it's awesome!

And I'm on the iPad, hence my reply before your quote... Can't scroll!:headache:

If I had a clue how to use photo shop I would SOOOOO do this! I was just saying yesterday how I wasn't taking my big 3 ring binder this trip (I think it will be trip #10) because I never needed it. But I do use it for planning. I was just going to use some large index cards and laminate them after I got all the info entered...Yours is so much cuter!
