Sorry that A had a rough last day. I know the FA station at DHS all too well.... and I have a habit of visiting it on most trips. (Actually, I think March was the first trip I didn't visit the DHS FA station.)

In 2009 when I was suffering from sun poisoning, they gave me crackers, a bottle of water, and a bottle of sports drink (don't recall the brand). Then they left me alone. I slept back there for several hours ... until the parade woke me up. :lmao: I'm not even sure if they noticed that I left. :confused3

I'm glad that A got a lot of assistance and they worked with you instead of forcing her off to the ER. I'm also glad that she made it home reasonably intact. :thumbsup2

Totally in love with your PP pictures! They're great!!!

Also love your Mary Poppins bag! (It's my favorite movie, just FYI.)

Thanks for sharing the pics of your lake house and your vacation! :goodvibes

Your Pary Poppins bag is great. It's so different from your other ones. You're very versatile.

:cat: <---- really enjoyed the parrot

Very nice bag :) It's a little too plain for my taste, but I love the variety you do. I like the bright and fun colors better but I'm a person who tends to wear plain clothes and jazz things up with accessories. My favorite part about your bags is seeing what the next one will be!

hey, I'm still here :thumbsup2 and NEVER leaving

more fun PP's love your "scary" shot with Sully and Mike!
for getting so much done yesterday....breaking out the to wait for the reveal!

ROFL Thanks Lisa!

I totally can't wait to see your latest bag. Maybe one day I could decide on a theme for me Thankfully C wasn't so hard to choose.

I agree with NINI we are all still here. I am in crunch time and feeling panicked right now so I may not post every day

I know you are super busy with getting ready for your cruise - I am super excited that you get to go on one! Someday I hope to do that. In the back of my head - I think that should be my big reward for getting healthy. :thumbsup2

I can't wait to see your new bag. So enjoying all your pictures!

Thanks Ruth!

Just bring all your bags so we can see all of them in person Problem solved -- happy to be of assistance :flower3:

I wish I could - but I am hoping not to check any bags and just bring a carry-on. :crazy2: I just can't justify paying $50 round trip to check a bag for 4 days.

I agree!

And I can attest to the fact that they look 1000 times better in person than in pictures (if that is even possible!)

Nini

Awww... Thank you Nini - That means A LOT coming from you!!! Seeing as you are a much more experienced seamstress than I am, and a quilter to boot... Thank you so much - and I am still on cloud nine that you like it. :cool1:

I'm still here too. Just not posting as much as I used to. Dealing with too much family drama lately.

Love the photopass pictures! I was going to prepurchase the photopass, but was glad I didn't as: 1. we didn't see many photographers, 2. SIL didn't want to stop to get pictures taken ever, 3. the one photo I really wanted to purchase (us in front of the castle off to the side), they ended up having an issue with the photographer's pictures that day, so we didn't get it.

Can't believe you are almost done your TR! Can't wait to read your next PTR either!

Hi Loree! Sorry about your family drama... I hate family drama!

I wish you would have told me about that picture, I would have thrown it on my PP for you.

I just hope I have reason for a PTR... LOL

Awww....it is Practically Perfect!

Nini

Thanks Nini!

Thanks Lisa - yah, I love how the parrot head turned out!

It's beautiful:worship:

Thank you! :flower3:

Thanks Stephanie... I just wish I could have gotten Practically Perfect on there - I tried, but my letters kept ripping. Some day I will have to buckle and get an embroidery machine, but for the few people that request a word on their bag, it's hardly worth it. At this point in time, it's either an embroidery machine or a trip to Disney... My girls are only young once, so I have my whole life to buy and embroidery machine. :thumbsup2

Amazing....

I forgot to welcome you yesterday! So, WELCOME! :lovestruc

Sounds like a lot of my friends are familiar with that FA station. I am glad you avoided it this last trip.

I'm glad that A got a lot of assistance and they worked with you instead of forcing her off to the ER. I'm also glad that she made it home reasonably intact. :thumbsup2

I think they would have forced us into the ER and they really wanted me to, but the fact that we were already checked out of our resort and our flight left in a few hours, thankfully they left it up to me. I am glad now that I made the decision I did, it could have turned out so much worse than what it was though. As a parent, sometimes it's so hard to make the right choices. For some reason, I had an inkling that she would be better once she got home, and I would feel so much better taking her to our local Dr. rather than one we don't know - I've always been a bit freaky like that.

Totally in love with your PP pictures! They're great!!!

ROFL... Every time I make a bag, something about it is your favorite. :joker: Glad you like it! :lovestruc

You're welcome. I always debate with myself if I should share things like that. I don't want people to think I am bragging, yet people ask me to share the pictures. I am glad you liked them. :lovestruc

Well, I spent the ENTIRE DAY in my sewing room yesterday. It was crazy, but I am glad I finished.

This morning, V has an orthodontist appt... I am hoping that they will tell us when she is getting her braces off - she is coming up on 2 years this fall. But the little rascal hardly ever wears her rubberbands, so she'll probably never get them off?

So, while I am in town, I need to run a bunch of errands... Like a BUNCH of errands. I am hoping to make it home in time for lunch, but I don't think that is going to happen.

I need to go to Joanns to get some zippers for my next few bags.

Then Josh told me to go to Office Depot to get a bunch of bubble mailers for my bags... He's tired of me having to run to town to get 2 or 3 because I am always out.

Then I need to stop at the grocery store to get a couple of odds n' ends, including, but not limited to, milk.

Like I said - I hope to make it home in time for lunch, but that will depend greatly on what time we get done with V's appt.

I hope to start my next bag this afternoon - and I am super duper excited about it... I had some great ideas the other night, and like usual, I hope they work. :scratchin

Have a great day everyone!

D~

Only a few to share today, since the bulk of them were shared earlier in my TR of the AK parade.

cute pics at AK! nice you got to see lots of characters!

good luck getting all your errands done quickly....boo to V for not wearing her rubber bands...let her know when I wore braces way back in the olden days :rotfl: I had to wear headgear, wore it as much as possible and got rid of it in 4 months, my DB also had to wear it and NEVER did and had it for over a year! hope she will get good news of when they are coming off!

more zippers too, boy you go through those things quick! good call on stocking up on your mailers too!

You have posted SO MANY PP pics over the weekend! I tend to not get on the internet during the weekends, just spend time with family...so you have NOT lost this reader, just MIA for the weekend. :thumbsup2 Isn't is just sad to have it come to an end. My TR is going to end WAAAYYY before I will be able to start a PTR. We will just have to find other ways to stalk each other. :rotfl2:

I really like the Mary Poppins bag. Probably because it is very understated, which is my style, but it is beautiful just the same. I am still in awe of your talent for hand embroidery! :worship: I can't believe you did those letters by hand! They are not pratically perfect, they are perfect!

I am hoping the family drama is over and done with now as I hate it too. I love my DH's family to bits, but my SIL can test my patience some days. :scared: I think my DH sometimes wishes he could just cut them out of his life, but I know that would just kill him. But like I said, hopefully it is over now.

I really hope you do another PTR so I can live vicariously through your planning and trip since our next one will likely be years away. We have had a few unexpected house repairs/appliance breakdowns that we want to pay off before we can start saving for another trip. And DH wants our next trip to be another cruise. Maybe I can talk him into a Disney one! :thumbsup2

:wave2: I am still here. We were out of town at my sis-in-laws for a bday party. My kids only have 2 cousins and don't get to hang out so we decided to sleep over.

LOL - I could only dream of DH being Disney addicted - it seems as time goes on, he despises it more and more. :confused3 I just don't understand why? I think part of it is the crowds - he hates them with a passion. And the other part is that he hates having to adhere to a "schedule" - whether it be mine or Disney's... It's just so frustrating - because I fear that he will never want to go back with me again. :(

D~

I am lucky that he loves it so much. Sometimes I think more than me:scratchin I am even luckier he likes wearing Disney stuff.:rotfl:

Another bag that was really hard to wrap my mind around. The person requested that I follow the theme of Mary's carpet bag outfit... Using black, navy, royal blue and small bits of red.

I'll let you all guess what "PP" stands for... I will tell you that it isn't the initials of the person that ordered it. :rolleyes1 And yes, the PP is hand appliqued - I still haven't broken down and purchased an embroidery machine...

IMG_6231.jpg

The interior fabric was the hardest to find - I really wanted somthing that was "carpet bag like"... I found this in that little fabric shop by our lake house, and I think it worked out perfectly.

IMG_6207.jpg

The person that ordered this bag also wanted the parrot head handle on the bag somewhere, and because of the shadow of Mary, I just couldn't make it fit anywhere, so we compromised and put it on the wallet. It is meant to be "upside down" when it's hooked to the lanyard, because when they are being carried together, it *reminds* you of her actual umbrella. I love how the parrot head turned out, it looks really awesome against the navy blue of the wallet.

Everything is so adorable.

So sad that  that you won't be in the launch but I totally understand not having enough time.

:rotfl2: I wore head gear too... but luckily I only had to wear it at night.
