I called him last night. Both him and Jonathan are still fine.

I asked if Jonathan was still mad (he has a bit of a temper if his routine is disrupted too much, or if anything out of the ordinary happens) - and my dad said he was still mad, so that made me feel better. I knew he was Ok if he was still mad. LOL Then I asked my dad a few more details about the accident. I fear the impact was much harder than my dad knew/wanted to tell me. He did verify that he was hit in the front fender... It had to be right where Jonathan was sitting, because of how my dad described the damage. I asked him if the car was really
that bad, and if he was sure he couldn't drive it. Because of my dad's learning disability - he sometimes doesn't see things quite as they are... He then told me the the entire passenger wheel was laying flat (basically the axel was busted) and the whole fender area was completely gone. Which tells me, when that truck stopped, it was sitting on top of the fender of my dad's car - narrowly missing Jonathan's legs. I can only imagine how upset my brother was, with that big truck sitting right there, nearly on top of him... I can only imagine how upset I would be, and for him - I am sure the scene was nothing short of mind boggling. I am just so very thankful that divine intervention was right there, and let my brother and dad walk away from this. Maybe my dad will listen to my warnings now, and understand why I get so upset when I know they are driving together. This, very easily, could have turned out so much worse.
Thank you very much for all of your prayers. As of now, I believe everything is fine.
On to Alli's birthday:
I think she had a great day??? She was out with Josh last weekend, helping him with a turn over at the duplex, and when they were done - he asked her what she
really wanted for her birthday. She told him that she wanted a pair of Osiris shoes (the very shoes I've been telling her for months that I hated and would never buy for her...). So, Josh thought - yay, my daughter is finally wanting a real pair of shoes - that she's actually wear - and not flip-flops... He took her to the mall and immediately purchased her the shoes (and some clothes to replace what she had wrecked painting that day). When they got back in the truck - she promptly told him... "Mom is going to kill you"... Um yah - I wasn't happy. But I had never told him, he didn't know, so he is really innocent.

So, Alli got her shoes, and she wears them almost every day... and I still don't like them. But whatever - as long as she doesn't get the attitude that so many kids that wear them have, I am OK with it.
We also took her and her bff to the MOA last weekend, and she had a very nice lunch at Rainforest Cafe.
And last month, we took her to Disney World... LOL - Yes, I am stretching that one as far as I can, I may even use it for Christmas this coming year. LOL
Last night, Victoria went to a friend's house for a sleepover (I said "no" because it was Allison's bday) and Allison begged me to let her go. LOL So, she went.
Our next door neighbors came over for dinner and brought a cake (V also made a cake for Alli at her friend's house - which we picked up - but we didn't know the neighbors were bringing cake - so we have LOTS of cake)... For dinner we had pepperoni pizza (at Alli's request)... I gave her one more little gift - the perfume she has been begging for, for months - from Gilly Hicks. And then we all sat down in the livingroom and watched the great 80's classic "The Breakfast Club"... Which Allison hated, but Josh and I had a good time.
And that was it... Real low key.
