No food porn for Boma?!? Oh well, maybe you won't be upset by my lack of food pics from this trip either! I do want to try Boma, and I do want to get some of those zebra domes this time. They were on my list for this last trip, but we dined at Sanaa which is in a different building from the Mara, so we didn't get to them. I will next time!

A drawstring bag? Sounds cool, but I still want a UPB when my ship comes in...

We fell in love with POR on this trip. I do want to make it over to POFQ for some and some beignets next time!

Oopsi, I'm anxious to hear more about PoR from your TR, because it's where we're considering for our May 2013 trip.

Anyway ... D, going to look more into Boma. It's just going to be harder this next trip toting DN around. I have several MUST DO places for her ... and whatever spots are left over, we'll look at things like Boma and such. It's just easier to dine in the parks when you're going sun-up to sun-down. And considering we rely on WDW to take us everywhere ... who knows. Still gotta map out the schedules and stuff.

D~ I'm LOVING the ruffle on the front - I like the ric rac on mine, but that ruffle . .. . FABULOUS!

I'm babysitting my embroidery machine while it stitches out the first of 5 fleece pullovers for Phalen & his soccer buddies. Can you believe that only 4 kids and the coach wanted one even though they're the rockbottom price of $8 each??? All I'm charging is the $5 for the jacket, the $1 per kid for the design (it was $4), $1 for supplies, and $1 for my time Is that a good deal or what???

I may not even have time to do the shirt -- we shall see. Amy is keeping me mighty busy with 8 people traveling to Dis. I forgot, I was also recruited to make a Lion's mane for the play at school with scrap fabric. I personally think fleece will work better so will likely just go buy some -- did I put that on my original list? And I signed up for a BG b/c I didn't do that last one. Ship date is four days after the play which is two days after the b-day party. Thankfully Amy doesn't leave until late June! And I also forgot, I have flannel to do pillow cases for GKTW and Amy will take them down for me so I don't have to pay to ship them so need to do those too!!!!!!!

Driving is much better than flying. I would hate to have to do Dis buses. We loved having our car. And with a family of four and a hybrid the cost savings was immense. I used to like to fly, but I can't deal with all the security right now. I'm so glad I don't have to fly anymore (When we were in RI I used to fly back to VB to work about once a month).

I didn't think it was horrible... Yes it was annoying to have to wait for the busses... but, I would think, by the time you go to your car vs. the bus - it would all come out in the wash?

This is not a Skype meet up. We want you there in person.

You want Kim to model your bags????? What about me I have modeled professionally (you do believe me, don't you ) ? Mail me all your bags and I will make sure they get forwarded to whoever ordered them. I can not be held accountable for the numerous amount that get lost in the mail though.

I think Kim makes an excellent model, and an excellent photographer... I love her spunky personality that totally shows in her photographs.

SO great to hear how BUSY you will be making bags! I can't fathom being booked SIX MONTHS IN ADVANCE!!! But I'd say that should be a clear sign that D~ has arrived!

I am sorry - I just don't have time before that... I wish I could show you all my schedule - you'd be impressed. I literally had to block off a week in June so I could make a prototype. LOL

Oh and now I'm curious to see what your grand idea is for the 2nd Main Street Bag would be

If I get to a 2nd bag LOL... I might have to save it for another launch. As it is, I am afraid I won't finish the 1st bag, and I'll be working on it on the side.

Thanks! Everything worked... but there were hardly any orders all day. No film orders until 10 minutes before I left - I was so sad that I didn't get to do "my last roll of film"... I am still so very sad about this change.

WOW Andrea, are you trying to off yourself! That's one VEEERRRRYYYY long list of sewing projects! However, I'm sure you'll get them done. You seem to be rather speedy at the machine. Fingers crossed you get in some good sewing time.

Yes, my MIL was here the other day from NOLA and she was talking about her and her friends going out for coffee and beignets on a regular basis - and I just was thinking about how I could go for some now.

I totally understand about trying to get in all the magical stuff while you have DN with you. Boma really isn't as "Disney" as the princess meals... It was good - I just don't know if I'd do it again - we'll probably try somewhere else next time.

This is ADORABLE!!! I just love how it turned out and I bet he loves it too!

I am spending my day appliqueing... Yay! I need to finish this bag I am working on, so I can start on my launch bag - which is the bag I have scheduled for this coming week... I hope I am able to get it done, because I have a really busy work schedule next week, and if I don't finish it, I will be trying to finish it while I am working on other bags. I don't like doing that.

You seriously undercharged. I am sorry. You should of charged $15 at least. You are too nice and how are you supposed to upgrade to a bigger machine at that price

I'm already on her schedule so I gave up a June spot because I thought I wasn't going until next year and now I have a trip planned for July! So I will not be in the cool D~ bag club until next trip But I've made my peace with it....I will be carrying the minimum this trip anyway since I won't have my little guy. But I promise to share pictures of my new fabulous D~ creations once I get them!

Well, I paused the bag I've been working on this week - I will resume it next week. I opted to work on my bag for the Launch... I am super excited about it - yet again, my brain is working overtime and I added some fun details that I probably couldn't add to another bag, so I am having fun with this one. However, I am not sure when you'll get to see it, because you know how I am about revealing stuff... I am not sure if I should wait for the Launch to reveal, or if I should do sneak peeks, or what???? But it will be a fun bag set, and for some people, it will be one of the only opportunites to own one of my bags with out the waiting list. I am just nervous that it won't sell. I am super paranoid like that... Those of you that sell your items understand my fear, I am sure.

It's Alli's 14th birthday tomorrow... Since we already celebrated last weekend at the MOA/Rainforest Cafe, we are keeping it low key at home. I did purchase the movie "War Horse" and we all want to see it - so we might watch that? Anyways - no sewing for me tomorrow. I've been trying really hard not to sew on the weekend anyways, unless I absolutely have to, to make a deadline.

Just catching up on a few days of posts now. Love the AK day updates. Great pictures of the parade and I loved hearing about the 'behind the scenes' of it all! The now and then pictures are awesome as usual. The first one of A from 2003 is especially cute, something about the smile and the pigtails gets me.

Love the latest bag too. It is an absolutely perfect combination of colours and I the ruffle. Kim is an awesome model too. Those pictures are just too cute!

Marianne - love the Ninjago hoodie! Can't let my DS see that one or he'll have me CASEing it!

I know there is a lot more that I have missed but know that I loved all the updates and everyone still cracks me up! I have to run for work now. Have to go downtown and measure an old building to do the renovation drawings for it.
