Congrats on the airfare.

Have a good day at work! I heard them talking in our Target yesterday about cutting hours. Hope you all aren't in the same boat.

I am so far behind. :headache:

Anyway ... let's see here.

Sorry that A was still feeling bad. I know all too well how rough it is to be sick at WDW -- having to maneuver the parks, withstand the weather, force food into your body, etc. Totally not fun at all. Hope she felt better QUICK!

I have to ask ... why were you sneaking around? I took LOTS of no-flash pictures at CoP. Why did you sneak on to the WEDway? :confused3 Were there big bouncers not allowing guests to ride? Because that would be awesome. :lmao: Gotta love a sneaky D! :woohoo:

Totally fell in love with your Dumbo and Tea Party pictures! AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! Exceptional pictures and I'm anxious to show DD! (She'll probably ask if you're still at WDW again. :rotfl2:)

So great that A was feeling well enough to dance and get "jiggy with it". :thumbsup2

Sorry that you had bad luck with the trains. I've only ever had walk-on experiences myself as well. So it's odd to hear such long waits for the train. The train is rarely at the station when we get there, but our max wait is in the neighborhood of 10 minutes or so. Sorry that you were waiting so long. They should really mark the train wait estimates if it's going to be long like that. "Wait from this point about X minutes" or something.

I don't really have that much exciting plans... except I did book the Pirates League again. As Marianne can attest too it really is a cool experience. We are staying two nights at CBR in one of the pirate rooms and then switching to AKL for the rest of our stay.

And I did finish all my outfits... :faint: But I think my PE770 really needs a vacation besides having my threader fall off it is making squeeky sounds:scared:

Marianne it is probably good that we haven't gotten together yet as all my kids are sick:sick: Don't they know we leave next week:scared:

FYI - for those of you not on FB... I booked my flights this morning for our Disbou Meet in Charlotte this summer... Airfare dropped and the timing was perfect!

D~ <--- Doin' the happy dance!

:cool1::dance3: That's great that you Lisa got your flights!!!

(I'm not really on the computer...I'm not really on the computer.....)

If your 770 is squeaky...it mans there is something (like thread) somewhere it is not supposed to be. On my first 770, the manual actually tells you what part to clean when it squeaks...my second one does not have that written in it.

Under the plate is a small thingy that looks kind of like the soft part of velcro.... that is the part that needs to be cleaned off...squeak goes away!

Yes! Pirate's League ROCKS!!!! I want to see lots of Facebook pics posted from Pirate's League! Finn still talks about it all the time!

So - does that mean your 770 doesn't need a babysitter while you're gone? I was going to offer, but it sounds like maybe it needs to go for some r&r :rolleyes1

Just kidding! I hope the kiddos get better quick! Don't they know they need to be crazy until you leave? It's the best way to get started on your vacation right :cool2:

Mine have been little terrors lately . . . so I'm glad they didn't get to give you a bad impression!!!!

My machine is squeaking on and off too and the bobbin is still not perfect. Once in awhile (like twice on every applique I do) it does not catch the bobbin thread and I have to start that step over. I don't have money for mine to go to the spa. I guess I will use it til it dies and then go back to hand applique until I can afford to take it in. I am not doing any BG's right now so I don't have to worry about getting things done on deadlines -- I'm only going to be sewing for the kids with the stash I have over the summer. Hopefully all that will end by the end of summer and I can go back to having a normal sewing life and get my machine to the spa. I'm just worried b/c I hear sometimes people take their machines in and they come back with other problems that didn't previously exist.

How do you clean it? I have brushed mine off and it still squeaks intermittently. Should I try to vacuum it?

Sorry D for taking over your Trip Report.... :)

I'll have to try to take it apart... after I come back but I don't remember ever seeing something like that. I'll have to look again.

Too bad the kiddos have been terrors.... mine have been perfect angels:rolleyes1 NOT (my 4 year old is not happy lately unless he is in tears :scared:)

 That is a pain when the bobbin doesn't catch. I had that problem too on a design I was doing. Not sure what was going on:confused3 But people on the Disbou thread is saying Amy contaminated your machine :rotfl2:

Congrats on the airfare.

Have a good day at work! I heard them talking in our Target yesterday about cutting hours. Hope you all aren't in the same boat.

Thanks!

It seems like Target is always cutting/giving hours. It really depends on the sales of each store, because each store has it's own payroll hours. I don't get a lot of hours anyways, so usually cuts don't affect me too much, and usually the cuts only last a week or two, because sales go up. :thumbsup2

Awww, thanks Liddy. I wish I could tell you all that A was feeling better, but anyone that was following my PTR at the time, knows that the worst isn't over yet. popcorn:: But I am very glad that she had fun that night. :cloud9:

Yeah on getting your flight booked!! Sounds like you ladies are going to have a great time!!

I hope so, I am very excited to meet these people! :cloud9:

For everyone with squeeky machines - I dunno what to tell you. :confused3 If it were one of my machines, I assume it would need a good cleaning and oiling... BUt I have no idea what type of maintenance needs to be done on an embroidery machine. :rolleyes1

I will be spending some time in my sewing room this morning. Then I have to go to town later to get my oil changed.

I will leave you all with a then n' now picture of MM:

Oh MM! Eeyore looks to be as big as MM in the first picture! Can't believe how big he is getting. I just want to reach out and scratch that belly in the second picture! Too cute!

Never apologize to D~ for taking over her trip report -- it's our job and we do it well :)

I think Amy's machine did make mine sick. It was perfectly fine until her collection of machines came along. My fault, I forgot to decontaminate myself after being at her house and touching her machine. She really should have provided me with isolation wear.

Thanks!

Me thinks V's legs shrunk!

Love the MM pictures!! I'm trying to talk DH into another dog but he's not going for it right now. But we're limited on breeds because I don't want anything too big and MM is growing to big for our condo.

MM looks so much like a teenager! Attitude in the eyes...like huh, who me?:rotfl2:

Yah- MM and Eeyore were approx the same size for a while. We had to put Eeyore away for a while - MM liked him too much. :rolleyes1

wow MM is getting HUGE, cute pics!

Yes, he is getting to be a "big boy" - but he is such a good dog - for now - he hasn't quite gotten into his rebelious teenage years - I am not looking forward to that.

Never apologize to D~ for taking over her trip report -- it's our job and we do it well :)

I hope your machine is better now Andrea.

MM is getting to be a big puppy!

Yes, I can't believe how big he is. He is just a hair smaller than Rufus was.

Love the MM pictures!! I'm trying to talk DH into another dog but he's not going for it right now. But we're limited on breeds because I don't want anything too big and MM is growing to big for our condo.

Yah - Goldens are probably too big in general to be in a condo. I can't believe how much running room he needs - because he is usually pretty mellow all day long, he likes to nap most of the morning and afternoon away. But once 3-4pm hits, he runs non-stop, and has soooo much energy. We throw his tennis ball all day long and he is perfectly happy to fetch it.

MM looks so much like a teenager! Attitude in the eyes...like huh, who me?:rotfl2:

I know - he is just barely starting that stage... A few more weeks, I am afraid.

I'll be spending the morning in my sewing room - I have an applique to work on - I was waiting for the fabric, and it finally arrived yesterday afternoon... So, I got is washed last night and in the dryer this morning. :woohoo:

Meanwhile - I know some of you will be happy about this... I was working on cutting out the prototype for my drawstring backpack. :thumbsup2

Unfortunately - I had to set it aside, because I got a phone call from my cousin... Long story short - he hasn't called me for 3 years... He was upset beause of something he asked me to do for him... He wanted it for free - and I had given him a generous discount as it was... So, out of the blue, he called me yesterday and wanted to chat... popcorn:: No mention of that previous project - or the fact that he suddenly dropped out of my life right then - and we were quite close.

Anyways... I better get on with my day. :wizard:

D~
