What a day! I think things are done here, I hope they end soon for you becca. We got some quarter sized hail. DS has been a basket case.

Man, there are tornado warnings out all over Missouri tonight. Keep safe everyone. Last time I checked there were about 10 counties in MO with tornado warnings (I'll take a foot of snow over tornados anyday!).

Our watch here just was extended to 4 AM. Good to hear things are looking better in MO right now.

Ours is til 4am also- we're in Macoupin County, IL.

We were actually driving home from Mt. Vernon last night from my great-grandparents' 65th anniversary party, and about 1 hour after we got out of Mt. Vernon is when the tornado hit there and in Bluford, IL- where a lot of my family lives. They are all ok, though. We were VERY lucky in our timing!! We hit some nasty rain and lightning on the way home, but nothing too bad. Hopefully everyone that got it last night will be spared. But- wind here is picking up and so is lightning- so I'm signing off for the night!! Stay safe everyone!!

How is everyone doing today. There were a lot of tornados in MO from what I hear. I hope everyone and thier families are safe.

After those storms went through Missouri, they came through Springfield. We had three cells last night. They have done millions of dollars of damage. There are still large sections of town without power.

It looks like a war zone in certain areas with 100+ year old trees completely uprooted onto homes and vehicles.

Luckily it appears that there was no loss of life. We were very lucky and the tornadoes passed 5 miles north of us and we were unscathed.
