Whenever Disney gets around to making a new ride in the future we will be better prepared at guessing when FP+ will be released.

But the guessing is part of their marketing. It creates hype and anticipation and turns attractions and events into something perceived to be bigger than they are. So by the time the next new attraction is ready to roll, they will have a new system so we can't predict

So true! Of course, as frustrating as it is, I love the challenge!

When we were at the Magic Kingdom Sun April 7th, the mine train ride popped up as an available option in the Disney experience app with the note "times updating". We walked over just to make sure they weren't testing it or something.. lol

No such luck, but interesting that it was already in the app though not on the website.

Just checked my app, no such luck.

But maybe it means they were testing it to make sure it worked on the app. Hopefully it will be available soon!

Others are seeing it. It's not on my iphone app, but I saw it online at the wdw MDE. Maybe they are seeing it on droid devices?

Q: When will FastPass+ be available?

A:It will be available as soon as the opening date is announced.

So, there's that. Now the question is, will it be available those first couple of days? I'm there on the 3rd, so I'm crossing my fingers.

TouringPlans.com estimates the wait time, at least for when I have it scheduled, is 86 minutes. I wonder how they calculate that?

At any rate, at least the queue sounds like it will keep the kids entertained if we do have to wait an hour or longer...
