It's been there for a few days now. At least it says opening soon.

I have a star on my map under FP choices...but no blue marker, just the start. If you click on it you get a bubble that says mine car.

I am really worried about this. We are going for my DD's 5th bday and she is doing BBB at the castle in the morning and we are having dinner at the castle that evening. I've planned the whole day at MK and now this is going on.

I'm with ya. This is our very first WDW trip and we most likely won't make it back for at least 5+ years, so our goal is to really jam-pack it all in & experience as many rides/shows/"funstuff" as possible, and with crazy huge crowds it will be difficult...

Same here! I check here, wdwmagic, and on the MDE for the Mine Train every morning. I have some place holder FastPasses in place for swapping as soon as its available. If I see it up, Ill post here if someone hasn't done so already.

FWIW I am checking once a day for our upcoming trip. I am so tempted to become (more) obsessed and check each hour - fearing I'll miss it.
Anyhow, if I see FP+'s for this; then I will immediately book my family's FP+'s and come here to let y'all know!

Noticed that the calendar above the map on the SDMT page at disneyworld.disney.go.com disappeared yesterday and then came back. It was there this morning and has now disappeared again.

Another SDMT post by the Social Media Manager on the blog, with a picture of Dopey next to the ride. Feel a bit sorry for her with all the comments just begging to be told when the ride will open.

We'll be visiting from the UK between 1st and 15th MAy. Hope its open!

I just noticed that it seems to be displaying differently on MDE as well. It says - opening soon - did it always say that? I've never noticed it.
