Haven't been there in forever, but will be curious to see what others responses are. I grew up 10 minutes from it, and very much remember it being built. As someone else noted, it's physically small. It was built on a small strip of property right outside of a typical suburban mall, the Oxford Valley Mall. I obviously don't know for sure, but I'm guessing they never envisioned it being as popular as it turned out to be. When it opened, it had basically one small parking lot. Very quickly, the mall parking lot, the office complex next to Sesame Place and the restaurants/offices across the street were getting clogged. They have added to the park itself, as well as parking over the years. However, it's still a physically small space for a "theme park". Unless anything has changed, if it's a warm weekend over a major holiday, expect it to be quite crowded (again, the small size makes it more noticeable)
