Server Dewayne Gibson

Hello. Is there anyway to find out if Dewayne Gibson will be on The Disney Fantasy for Christmas this year. We had in 2012 and would love to surprise the kids with him...

Small world! We also had him in Nov 2012 and loved him! He was paired with Ricardo who was my favorite cast member I've ever encountered at Disney/Disney cruise, however I know he is no longer working there and is back home in Portugal.

We are going back on the Fantasy in Oct. of this year and put in a request for him if he is still on the ship. He is great!

I spoke with Ricardo about a month ago on facebook and he said he was still with Disney I am gonna try to find out from Disney today and I will let you know.

Is DeWayne from Jamaica? I have no idea if we're talking about the same person, but if that's the one, he was promoted to head server.

We just finished a 7-Day Western Caribbean cruise on the Fantasy and Dewayne Gibson from Jamaica was our Server. Just to clarify, there is an Assistant Server (mainly handles drink orders), a Server (mainly food orders), and a Head Server (over all the service staff for that restaurant). This was our third Disney cruise and Dewayne is by far the best Server so far!! If you are sailing on the Fantasy any time soon, ask for Dewayne by name and tell him Erick from Missouri sent you.

May I ask what made him a wonderful server? Examples perhaps. Just curious to hear stories. Thanks!
