Hi, I'm currently looking into a trip at the end of March & just pricing up the different hotels. I notice now that Disney automatically give you the price for the most expensive type of room and you have to then change the room type to get it cheaper!

I have been looking at the Sequioa Lodge & for my dates it's £568 for a montana room, £36 less for a lakeside view room & £80 less for a room in the main building. Now, am I wrong, or are the montana rooms in the main building? It just seems odd that there are 2 different prices for the same room! Very confusing!:confused3

ETA: I have now found out that the rooms have been swapped because of the refurbishment so that answers my question!

When we booked in November we selected a room in main building that was £140 cheaper and we got a refurbished room when we got there. It was lovely. Don't know how different a Montana room would have been but it was fab!

Yes they are cheeky gits for giving you the most expensive option by default. You are right in that they are redecorating and the cabins are now the montana rooms. I however stayed in these the very first trip and tbh did not like them at all. I kinda felt like i was away from the main atmosphere of the hotel, so have now booked in the main building for my Jan trip even if it means staying in a non refurbed room i still prefer that.:goodvibes
