So, here is one of those ridiculous questions...When is love bug season? You know those bugs that are all over the place in Florida...I think in September...but I don't remember...anyone know???
I would have to plan a wedding and have it be love bug season ! YUK! You would have little black spots all over your dress!!!

ok thats good. I'm googling now...I remember the last time I went-I cant remember if it was in the beginning or at the end of Sept.

our wedding was sept 2nd and there was a few bugs but i couldnt tell you what kind of bugs they were

For some reason I thought love bug season was in May...but I might be wrong; I guess I should know living in Tampa! :rotfl:

It is May and September ish

I wouldn't worry :cool1: Have you ever been to Disney and noticed a lot of bugs around? It's very rare. Sometimes we joke that Disney is secretly under a big clear dome so they can create the perfect environment with no bugs. :lmao: Definitely don't let love bugs be your stresser! :goodvibes

I remember a lot of bugs in May 2001, but that was mainly because of wildfires. Other than that, I can't remember many bugs in May and I go down there every year in the middle of May for my birthday. I guess I have to agree with the big clear dome theory.

We had quite a few love bugs during our September/October trip this year.. but it was very very weird.. only in certain areas.. it seemed like tons during the first half.. and then I dont remember seeing any at the end... and we saw alot at the water parks and animal kingdom.. but i dont remember many at all when we were in Epcot and MK.. weird.. as if they were only in certain areas.. I wouldn't not plan a wedding for those times just for the love bugs tho.. from everything I've heard and experienced May and September are beautiful times of year to visit WDW :goodvibes

Good point. The logistics of figuring out what date is becoming difficult. I thought I had it all figured out when I was going to go with the beginning of Dec. someone that one of the other boards said that it was crowded this year...:guilty: DF wouldn't like that much.
So, then I thought about Sept. However, I remembered the last time we went in Sept the love bugs were just a pain. You're right there were just in certain places and most noticeable around the hotel (Contemporary) and not so noticeable in the parks. Hmmm...Well, at least that gives me a couple of choices I guess...

Got married september 8th this year and I saw very very few love bugs - I didnt notice any attending our wedding/reception or DP- but that could have been because my mind was elsewhere!!!
