You have to be beyond excited with less than a month to go! Which Crocs did you choose?

Alright.. before I start with an update. I have to share that I am so excited that we are leaving in less than a month. LESS THAN A MONTH... Nobody in my life, is a Disney fanatic like me, so I find myself secretly beaming and smiling throughout the day but slightly frustrated that nobody understand my love for the happiest place on earth and how I feel when I’m in WDW. DBF sorta gets it... he's coming around.. Which makes me love him even more!! On the other hand, is keeping me busy. Working some extra hours this month.. Thank god I love my job or all these extra hours would be killing me.

Lot's have been happening in the last week or so..
1. DISNEY MAGICAL EXPRESS:We got a package in the mail, and it turned out to be our Magical Express tags/information. Upon opening it, found out everything was wrong, and Dbf was the only person going on our trip and bringing luggage Which is soo funny and sorta annoying considering... I had been bugging him for months to return back to WDW.. After calling the DME number, the lady on the phone added me to our trip and re-sent all the information. (Which I received in record time, like 2 days via UPS.) I must say, that I love the idea of DME, especially that’s its free but will never give them our luggage( Especially if it takes 2-3 hours to receive). I’m so paranoid about losing luggage...already that we pack half our things into two luggage’s that way if one gets lost we both still have clothes to last us a couple of days and besides by the time we get to the hotel.. It will be bedtime.. The last thing I don’t want to have before bedtime is clean pj's, and my toiletries. In '06 we simply brought our own luggage and they put it under the bus it worked out well.

2. SCHEUDLE: well I was looking forward to not being so schedule this time around.. But Dbf has planned out our days again. With the Walt Disney World, my Disney vacation. Here is an example of our itineraries:




8:30 am ARRIVE Disney's Hollywood Studios™
9:00 am Rock 'n' Roller Coaster® Starring Aerosmith Disney's Hollywood Studios™
9:20 am The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ Disney's Hollywood Studios™
10:00 am The Great Movie Ride Disney's Hollywood Studios™
10:30 am Now Open - Toy Story Mania! Disney's Hollywood Studios™

It's def. not hectic like our last trip, and we sat down and decided to only do the rides, see the shows that we really enjoyed last time. I love that he's jumped on board with the planning, and I love that he's getting so involved. I'm pretty sure he could use a Vacation. He's also agreed to help me write my TR, which will be a great addition especially because we never see eye to eye.. and its generally just funny to sit and listen to us interact. My girlfriends tell me all the time that Dbf and I should have our own Reality show. (I don’t think so..) but I hope everyone will read our TR when we get back. I’ll have to make sure to bring a notepad and make some personal notes after each night...

3.Shopping: We recently made a trip to Wal-Mart with a WDW list. I found a thread on disboard regarding packing tips. I picked up a few things: band-aids, Ziploc, Sun Tan lotion, Glow stick. etc. Here is a photo:

I also got a gray folder to hold all of our receipts when in Disney, Dining/souvenirs.. etc. You know the deal. Then i got another folder to hold all of our reservation numbers, photocopies of tickets/passports, maps of parks, luggage tags, itineraries etc. You get the deal.. just trying to keep .
organized.

Thanks to disboards. I found out you could buy misting fans at Wal-Mart in the sporting goods section. I got a blue one, for 8 bucks, it’s pretty big... Dbf was really embarrassed and thought the idea was ridiculous... but we'll see how he feels about my misting fan when it’s a HOT day at Animal Kingdom.

4. MNSSHP: We also got our MNSSHP tickets. I've decided not to dress up... but am still really excited to go. I will be taking plenty of photos, and will at least wear a blue'ish/purple'ish top to match the lights at MK that night. We will def. try to get alot of photopasses that night.

5. CROCS: I am having the worst luck, no store in my city carry the type of crocs I want, and crocs.com/ca currently isn't delivering to Canada... at the moment. Temporarily have stopped shipping to Canada... aurgh.. I'm so frustrated because I've been looking/waiting/wanting.. etc. I may just get a pair delivered to the Hotel. I'm just concerned because what if i dont get the right size, they aren't comfortable.. etc,


Anyhoo thats it for now.. Over the next week or so.. i'm going to be looking into purchasing a travel size blow dryer. If yous have any suggestion.. let me know. I need a small one that the dbf can carry in the backpack on the day were doing the Epcot Aqua Seas Tour.

Your Dbf will think you are one of the wisest women in the world when you use the misting fan. The last time we went in July I bought a WDW misting fan and LOVED it! What a relief. He may feel silly now, but he will love it, as you said, when you're dying of the heat in AK or anywhere else in the World.

As for Magical Express, I understand your feelings about the luggage. That's the way we were on our first trip with ME. Then, we started carrying what we needed with us, for those 2-3 hours, in our carry-on luggage. Letting them take care of the delivery was so, so, so nice since we got to just get off the plane and head straight for the buses. It's great, because you're so excited to be this close to WDW and you can just head straight there. I know they have a high ninety something percentage of delivery without luggage loss, but you do what you're comfortable with doing.

It looks like you're pretty set to go. Is there anything else you need to do or get, before you leave? I'm so excited for you!!!

Just remember on your DHS say itinerary you posted to get a fastpass for Toy Story Mania 1st thing. I've been reading about huge lines and fastpasses running out before noon.


I haven't decided if we are going to MNSSHP or not yet. What day are you going again?

'cause were arriving so late...we'll need our luggage for all of our night time preparations....toiletries, Pj's, etc. If we were arriving mid-afternoon, i think we would have given the DME the benefit of the doubt and left our luggage with them.

I've def. will tell him about toy story mania. I think were going on sat or sun night, I honestly can't remember, and i dont have our itenerary near me at the moment. I'll check. You should def. keep MNSSHP in mind.

Update:

Well not much is new, our planning is completed. Just waiting for time to pass... i've been busy at work making up extra hours and feeling . Ahhh.... I've done some shopping....I'll post some pictures of my new purchases soon. I got a new top, Travel blow dryer, crocs, rain poncho (only 1: dbf insisted he didn't need one) He's too worried about his looks lol I told him EVERYONE wears them, he'll blend right in with one and stick out like a sore thumb without one.

I've recently purchased a travel sized blow dryer... I'm going to need it after our Aqua Seas Tour. Dbf refused to carry anything that I would need to re-do my hair after the swim... he claimed there wasn't enough room for my round brush, hairspray, hair straightener, blow dryer, gel, and comb...

Needless to say, I needed everything to be downsized in order to even have a shot at convincing dbf to carry them around ALL DAY, and to wait the extra 30 minutes while i get ready because he refused to schedule enough time afterwards for us to return the hotel and freshen up. So all my hair products needed to be small enough to fit into dbf's backpack. So far, i've purchased a smaller comb, hair dryer, mouse and i still have to pick up a travel size hairspray.

I've really been feeling lately... and just exhausted, but i'm not the only one...Dbf too. Hopefully we'll both be feeling 100% for upcoming trip which is soon to come..

This afternoon, i'm about to take a nap..Dbf comes into the bedroom and says close your eyes, and put your hands out. Which I do, immediately... to open my eyes to the WDW customize maps.

I know they are simply maps.. but let me explain. After reading on disboard about personalized antique maps, Dbf and I spent an entire evening on the WDW website, in 'My disney vacation' and picked our favourites out. We enjoyed talking and viewing each ride, entertainment and dinner options. It was so much fun, and it made me smile. After a good night of palnning these maps, we found out WDW doesn't deliver to Canada. I was so disappointed...never really thought much of it after that. We had talked about printing them at home, but needed to purchase legal sized, glossy paper.

I cried with excitement when we started to open up the package, they are beautiful and he really touched my heart. I am so excited to have them, but most important you must be wondering how we got them? We still live in Canada.... well this is where dbf mom comes in. She had them delivered and they forwarded them on to us. If it wasn't for dbf's mom, i wouldn't have them. Honestly, that was really sweet of her and touched my heart dearly.

I hope you two are feeling better. That is so sweet that your Dbf arranged it so you could get those maps. I know I love mine, and I remember how much I enjoyed getting them.

Hey, remember when you were trying to get those Crocs flip flops and they weren't delivering to Canada? Having them sent to someone in the states, like your Dbf's mom and having her forward them to you, could have been one way to get them!

Good morning Dis. I"m headed off to the mall today to get some cold medication, hopefully to cure this sore throat and head cold but also, it never hurts to pick up the rest of the items on my list while i'm there
-travel sized hairspray
-luggage
-lululemon shirt
-Old navy shorts/shirt
-2 tops
-new sweat shirt
-would love a new pair of uggs (mine are garbage from last year)
-new ipod
-going to pop in for a tan

Thats pretty much about it, I've scheduled a pedicure/waxing on sunday before we leave, any excuse to attend a spa, i've got it!! I'd still like to get my hair washed/blown out (less work while i'm at WDW if the hairdresser did the work for me, personally i find that it last about 2-3 days, then my hair gets oily and i need to wash it.) and a massage, but that would def. be pushing my timeline.

We fly out on Monday, and i'm planning on attending work in the wee-hours of the morning until at least 11-12am. So i'm not too sure when i'll fit in the Hair and massage because that only leaves sat/sun to do laundry/pack and get organized. hmmm.... we'll see what i can manage and see what dbf's schedule is like.

Well its tuesday.. (wishing it was friday) I've been trying to keep myself busy. I thought i'd share with yous what i've been up to the last week or two. sorry the pics are sooo big, i dont know how to make them smaller.

First off, we have been making mini-weekend trips around the province to visit family...I always love a good road trip.

2. I finally got around to using my brand new sewing machine. My first project was some decorative pillow cases for our bedroom.. here's a look. (not too bad for a first-timer)

MAC makes my bank account cry. I'm so horrible about wanting everything in that store. Their last collection (Cult of Cherry) was to die for, I wanted it all.
