This will be our first September trip to wdw. I was wondering if it will be possible to do major attractions in the morning with moderate to short waits. I chose the least crowded parks most of the time.If the park is a 1 or a 2 crowd rating will this be possible? If so,I would use fast passes mid day.
Thanks for any help

If you go early you have a better chance of getting on a few things with a lower wait time, but it also depends what time in Sept. you are going. Disney has been using discounts, free dining, and other tricks to increase crowds in September and I have found the crowds to be getting bigger each year. Granted they are still less than many other times such as school vacation, summer, and holiday times. If it were me I would plan the FP's for the most important rides you want to go on and then look try for a few others first thing, but try to choose rides near one another to cut down walking time. Have a great trip!

If you get there early there will be almost no wait. You can ride just about everything by 11am if you are there at rope drop in early-mid Sept.

In the past, this has been possible. Now that the Food and Wine festival starts mid-September, I believe it will be more crowded. According to crowd calendars, days that were 1s and 2s (light crowds) in September ; are now 4s and 5s( medium crowds). It should be interesting. We are also going back this September. Have a great trip. Arriving early to each park brings a better chance of getting on busier rides and shorter waits no matter what month you go.

I did chose early to mid sept 13-20 We want to do the mnsshp. Want to try major attractions early without ft+ we always do rope drop

If you arrive by rope drop you can easily get all of the busier rides done by 11 am or noon at the latest. We get FP's for our 2nd park of the day as we always do park-hopper option.

Do you find major attractions do-able without fastpass early morning.we always do rope drop

We had no problem last year right around Labor Day. The only one that's difficult at MK is 7DMT... and even then it's manageable. You should have no problem, really.

I completely agree with all the PPs. Most rides had less than a 20 minute wait even at peak times bar Peter Pan, 7DMT, TSMM. Last year was alot busier than 2014 due to two consecutive long weekends for some parts of the US (not incl Labor day).

OP, not sure what time of year you've been before but remember Sept is HOT (and humid) so if you are go all day people I would definitely recommend hitting all the sit-down aircon attractions during the busiest times of the day (which is also the hottest). Tiki Room, Carousel of Progress, Spaceship Earth for example can be real life savers, especially if you do them back-to-back. And don't forget to hydrate! :drinking1:artist:

This is what I'm contemplating doing. We're more familiar with DL so FP+ is new to us. We're also BIG legacy FP users so it'll be interesting only have the three options to start with. The plan is to be at rope drop, go hard for a couple of hours then have a late breakfast/early lunch, maybe one or two more attractions and then back to the resort before hopping elsewhere in the afternoon. I'm wondering if FP+ in the morning would work in some parks better than others. We'll be at WDW Sept 13-24.

The past 3 years we have been to the World in July, late Sept, and Labor Day weekend consecutively. The crowds were worst in July but not drastically worst, same for late Sept. A solid RD plan trumps crowd levels any day. Plan for the worst and you'll be fine. Use your FP strategically when possible. Read mesaboy2's thread on FP. It really breaks it down and gives good strategies. I have found for us is to start using FP around 1030-1130 or so. Before that time you can cover some solid ground. It's a good balance to take advantage of RD crowds and still having opportunity to get some decent 4th FP after using your 3.
