September Roll Call!

Anyone else brave or crazy enough to go to WDW this September? We are going using our developers points that we got when we signed on last summer. We will be at BWV Sept. 24- Oct. 1. The dev. points are non-refundable, I'm worried that if there is a hurricane we will lose our points. Let's keep our fingers crossed that there will be NO hurricanes this year.

BWV Sept 24th through October 1 for us, too. Definitely just saying NO to hurricanes for me. Jeanne was plenty last September. If it happens again, I won't be going in September again anytime soon.

We will be there Spet. 24 thur the 30th. We were there last year and had to cut our trip short because of Hurricane Jeanne. So we are crazy enought to go back around the same time. However, on the bright side, the crowds are small and the weather is still perfect. We will be staying at OKW.

We are going in september too~! We will be there the 2nd thru 18th.

Praying for no hurricanes!!!! Our family is sooo super excited that if our trip were canceled, I think we would all have a major melt down! hah!

I bet the crowds this year will be even better than usual in sept, due to many not taking a chance on the hurricanes! (dont they realize hurricane season is not just sept? it is actually like june thru nov???!!!)

We will be there from Sept 16-25. Most of it at SSR. Not sure where for the first weekend. Right now I'm thinking cheap but I really want to try AKL. If AP rates are decent then AKL for the first two nights and then SSR for 7.
This will be 4th Sept in a row that we have gone and only last year was there any kind of weather issues... So it won't happen again, yes I do control the weather...lol is what I predict for Sept.

Looks like we'll all be watching the hurricane tracker pretty closely. Littlestar, we'll be @ BWV the same time . I'll be the mom that looks as though she's lost her mind. We'll be taking our DS8, DD5 & a 3 month old . Wish us luck!!

Us too! We'll be there for our vow renewal. Anyone in the area of Jelly Rolls on September 27 stop in and say "hi" to our crew!

Also, we got married during a hurricane (Gloria) and I don't want history to repeat itself for the vow renewal!

Not staying in a DVC resort, but we will be at the POP the night before the member cruise, then the member cruise, then the ALL Star for the weekend.

My family and I will be there Sept 1-4 then on to the member cruise. My husband and I were there last year in Sept. We were very lucky because Ivan did not touch WDW. We were watching the weather channel 24/7 just prior to our trip. We were supposed arrive the day Ivan would have hit Orlando. I was afraid that we would have gotten stranded at an airport, so a few days before our trip I called MS and arranged to come in a day earlier, no problem. They were great, also supprised that we were adding on a day. We were fortunate that Ivan turned and did not hit the already damaged Orlando area from the previous hurricanes. We had a great time and will not worry about travel in Sept.

We will be there 2 nights off site somewhere (won a trip ~ don't know details yet) and 2 nights in a BWV's studio. 9/28-10/2 quick trip, but NO KIDS!!!!!

We'll be there the 3rh-9th. Not worried about hurricanes. As another poster said- the season is way longer than just sept! I'd rather the small crowds for our first trip home!

We go every year in September. Except last year, went in October, stroke of luck? I had family go last September one day inside watch a movie and relax. No crowds small waits worth the risk....
