we'll be at BWV sept 23-oct 1st. we're taking my sister and her 3 kids (16, 14 & 10), add our 2 (3 & 1) and i think we're in for an interesting time

Count us in too! Sept 17 through 26 at BCV and VWL. That is....if my husband can make that long drive with a 10 and 7 year old in the back seat..... Put a DVD player in the truck for a Christmas present and they still fight like cats and dogs....

DH and Iwill be there for our 25th wedding anniversary, 9/6. We will be at BWI concierge 9/2-6 and then our very first DVC stay at VWL the 6th - the 10th.

We were there last year too during that time. Had to delay the start of our trip, but was able to extend it on the other end.

We will be going home to OKW first time as DVC members Sept. 25 thru 30. We can't wait. Who cares about hurricanes? My son sat through three of them in Sanford (just north of Orlando) last year. He would talk to us from his balcony and we could hear the wind in the background. Our visit to Dixie Landings in Sept. 1999 fell between two hurricanes. We had a great time.

PS Not to make light of hurricanes to those of you who lived through them. We visited again in December and were shocked at the damage we saw. Our son is a new pilot and flew us to Naples. It seemed like all of Florida was under water.

We're taking friends to BCV from September 25 - 30, hoping we won't have to reason with hurricane season.

Editing: We'll now be there from the 17th- Oct. 1. We found decent airfare, so we've decided to fly so we'll have a couple extra days.

We'll be there Sept. 23-Oct.1. We just bought the plane tickets. Weekends TBD, but 25th-30th in a GV a OKW with my parents, my brother's family and our family. We're psyched, and praying for no hurricanes!

We'll be on our first trip "home" to OKW from 9/18 - 9/23 in a 2BR with my Dad and his wife and 3 year old dd. Can't wait! We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE September for so many reasons, even after hitting the hurricanes in 1999!

We are going in September from the 9th-19th. I say what are the odds another hurricane hits the same time. It was the first time they were ever closed for weather. Right?
